Yesterday was the first day I broke down, since Philly stopped, and checked out Saratoga just to see if can SEE something good. Maybe MJ can verify that I logged in about a minute before post for the 7th race yesterday. I was gonna mention a hoss that was ALMOST a 10* that I saw in the prerace. I already played an zacta wheel, 3 stinkin bucks over ALL and 2 worser stinkin bucks on the bottom under ALL on this horse that just SCREAMED for me to play him in the prerace for that 7th race. I got another look at him just before I was gonna type something here and decided I better get some more of this hoss and, besides, it wouldn't do any Mad Jacker any good if I did get to post cause thems just started to load. I got me $20, Win/Place on the no. 7 hoss. IF THIS WAS PHILLY I WOULDA GOT OUT THE "C" notes cause this hoss was just about a 10* at 6-1. I promised myself that I would definitely send it in the next time I saw a 10* in the prerace. Just couldn't do it cause this is the SPA.
I almost turned off the dang computer in disgust after watching my no. 7 hoss get side swiped (hit pretty good too) WAY wide at the back of the pack of 10 coming out of the first turn. At that point he was dead last, about 30 lenghts behind with no chance. SHEEET!
Check out the replay if ya can of this race or just check the chart. I musta watched live/tv/puter thousands of races and I can't recall one like this one probably cause I saw EXACTLY what happened to that no. 7 hoss early on in the race. It will tellya the difference FOR ME that answers the question.. do I do better just watching them before they race or just spend hours handicapping them. The race was just unbelieveable.
Maybe posting this STUFF will help somebody know that what I see is better than what I cap.
Looks like Hamster is around, so I'm gonna try to do it RIGHT today. NOT ADVISING you, Ham, to play what I post, but knowing that you DO check out my stuff at least tells me that somebody's reading this stuff. Not gonna write to myself.
I had a very good day yesterday, but that 7th topped everything else by FAR. I got 5 contenders for the first race so far, got to check them out and then post with at least 2-3 mins. to post. This track is really tough to cap, sooo competitive, but this first race looks like the races that I did good with yesterday. We'll see.
