Couldn't happen to a nicer guy. I see this during a period of mourning for Kirby Puckett - a guy who lifted people up and played the game the right way without cheating.

Bonds is a bum. He was a great player before the steroids, but this is a killer for him, I would assume.

Bonds was using two designer steroids referred to as the Cream and the Clear, as well as insulin, human growth hormone, testosterone decanoate (a fast-acting steroid known as Mexican beans) and trenbolone, a steroid created to improve the muscle quality of cattle.
:mj07: Mexican Beans? What a desperate asswipe. :142smilie

I remember Bonds when he was a string bean playing for ASU. He was an a-hole then...not like the celebrity changed him any.

shocker. Also, Chadman, what makes u think Puckett wasn't on the juice as well?? I will agree, he was a much classier player, that's for 'should'.

Article claims Bonds started using steroids after McGuire and Sosa were hitting so many home runs and everyone adored them.

Bonds ego couldnt take it.

He never knowingly took steroids though.

Not sure how you make that happen.

Been around enough gyms to knowingly know what steroids are and how to use them.

Give it up Barry. No way he should be allowed to break Ruths record or Aarons home run record. Its not right.

Take away McGuires records and Sosas too and lets start fresh.

What a bunch of pasty faced dirty baseball bastids.

bonds should do baseball a favor & retire.....because more of these stories will pop up as he gets closer to the homerun record.......

i wonder what his god father willie mays (the greatest ball player in my time) thinks about this ?

I actually think Bonds should keep playing. I have a morbid fascination with seeing the reaction he'll get as he reaches 714 and 715. Even in SF, he'll be bitterly hated.

I disagree they worship that mofo! This is coming from an ex-die hard Giant fan. I gave up on the Giants because of Barry (the fu*kin punk!) and started cheering for the stros - (3 years ago) due to it being obvious he was on the juice. I look @ Barry juiced up and try to compare him to the Rocket. The Rocket has been in the league for moons and the only thing he is guilty of is maybe to many Krispy Kremes and the man STILL THROWS GAS! Not to mention the the b's. GO STROS!

Would they STILL support him? He hasn't played at all since the cream admission, the congressional hearing, and ultimate fallout of the other big roid users. And now this is the biggest damning proof of all. I can't imagine he'd get anything but jeers even in SF. It should be enough to wake up even the most blind fans, but I guess you could very well be right. It takes more than that to get people to admit their hero is a fraud sometimes.

This may be an unpopular opinion in here but I could care less if he is on the juice. I think everyone makes too much of it. Who gives a crap, it still takes incredible hand eye coordination, an unbelievable amount of training, tons of travel etc.......... to be as good as Phil Nevin is for chrissakes. Everyone is so quick to jump on the wagon on this issue as if steroids are actually hurting the game............gimme a break. The fans have treated him like a dog for years and I couldn't care less about that either. Steroids are unpopular and despised because that is what everyone wants the public to think. I'm sorry if I pay $65 for a ticket I want to see some scoring and some hitting. I love the game of baseball, but it is the fans that demand 40-50 homeruns from their star players not the players. Most of you would be calling him a bum if he hit 12 homeruns, he hits 73 and hes still a bum. I got a surprise for you boys.........everybody cheats.........everybody...........you do..........he does.......she does.....everybody.............at their profession and in their life. If anyone dare tries to tell me they haven't then I will give you my home address and need you to come over so you can walk across my swimming pool.
My point is this...........if you are going to stand on higher moral ground about steroids being cheating then you need to stand there also when Pettitte balks every time he throws to first, or when Gonzales' back foot is out of the batters box, or when Rickey Henderson ran out of the base line, or when Mike Scott walked four staight hitters on 16 straight pitches then struck out Ryne Sandberg, Andre Dawson, and Keith Moreland on 9 consecutive pitches that were suddenly unhittable. Cheating isn'tnew in sport, only the media attention to this particular form of cheating is new and the social conscience has jumped right on board with it, just as they always do. Who cares, he still has to make contact it may just go a bit further, good for him and good for the fans. Steroids are a decision and I understand that they are considered illegal by baseball, but so is gambling.............anyone up for a game?

Those that have used them say the strength difference is incredible.Sosa,Bonds,McGuire all should be expunged from the record books.50 Homers was a legit milestone before and it will be again without the juice.Wipe the cheaters off the record books.

OH and one more thing..................the authors of this book are trying to sell it................right? I think they make a profit on it if they do ................right? Didn't that article I just read said they gathered their information from interviews and such? But they didn't actually inject him did they? So........they are trying to SELL BOOKS........................right? You don't think they would be somewhat economical with the truth or maybe do a little creative writing do you? ..................Nah..............no way.................hell this book is about Barry "friggin" Bonds taking steroids......it must be true..........and 27 LA cops consecutively beating Rodney King withbilly clubs while they tasered him, while other cops stood watch was totally necessary too, I mean he evaded arrest, right? ..................Media said he did...............he must have..................right?
