Could be asking for a lot of trouble holding that thing. Somebody stealing it. Somebody putting a gun to his head demanding it. A Rod going on a new superman juice and hitting 300 next season to pass him? Im selling.

Yea, someone steals it and then turns around and tries to sell it? Hmmm..I doubt you would find alot of interest in a commodity like that when its common knowledge that it is stolen. If it did get stolen I might try and sell a fake to any idiot willing to buy.
I would agree w/selling because ARod will break it in 6 years assuming he stays healthy (which is a big if.) This kid obviously comes from some $$$.
The fact that the govt. may tax someone on an item like that before any profit is realized just makes me :cuss:

Fade, i thought of that but why do people steal famous paintings? Criminals are criminals. This dumb kid is being plastered all over the news. He is just asking for it from one of these thieves. Hell, there might even be people out there that are jealous of him and will take it and cut it in half. Ya just never know.

Painting and baseball are totally different. I'm sure there are 3 wealthy Sheiks that believe they possess the same stolen Picasso or whatever. You can enjoy a painting. A historic baseball is a commodity. You can't sit around and stare at a ball and you couldn't sell it either
IT's cautious Jack cautious. When Dr Strangelove was talking about standing in line for that video game about eight months ago I was the guys that said take precautions you never know if someone is gonna rob you in that line knowing you have a nice amount of cash on you. Man i just saw a chick try to scam a plastic surgeon with fake credit cards or sum shit like that. Forgetting that the plastic surgeon had to take pictures of her before the procedure. You are giving some of these criminals way to much smarts in my opinion.
