So it's not possible or even likely that Brady bitched about the footballs feeling like bricks after an Oct. game in which they were over 13.5 psi and then asked the guys to take the air down as low as allowed (12.5) where he likes it. The guys start doing it and have been doing it, sometimes they don't have time to check them all after they let some air out, ie. vs Indy. There was about 1:40 according to Wells and the video.
Brady knowing good and well who would and could have done it says nothing, doesn't rat them out.
This would make him a stand up guy and not in the least guilty of breaking the rules.
He would have been a fool to give them any texts or emails, they can be used to paint just about anything without proper context. In fact it seems to me like the guys were tired of Brady bitching about rock hard footballs and they were jokingly going to add air to them instead, 16 psi...
Isn't it possible he never said anything about lowering them below 12.5?
The Wells report doesn't prove much other than two guys were involved in adjusting football pressure for the Patriots. Strangely the report attempts to document and compare 11 Patriot games balls tested at halftime with ONLY four Indy balls?? WTF, you cannot make any comparison when it's 11 on one hand and 4 on the other??
More communication between them after the investigation you ask? Well of course there was, what are they supposed to do, ignore each other and not ask anything.
Brady paying them with memorabilia? Some have said he has a history of being generous with this type of thing and it's nothing new.
I think if you held preconceived notions of them cheating before you probably feel the report supports this claim again. An honest, unbiased look at this would lead you to have more questions than answers.
