Replaced my first GFCI today. :0074

Fecking thing popped the other day when my wife and stepson closed both garage doors at the same time. When I went and hit the reset button the thing popped big time in a big puff of smoke. All outlets went dead. Figured I'd have to get an electrician but decided to figure it out myself. Simple things people don't realize they can do themselves if they just try.

All pleased now.

Good jib bud, I'm sure all the cool kids would be talking about it if you were still in school of course. Wait until you learn how to change light bulbs!! It's like an entire new world opens up to you.

I've done regular outlets but not a GFCI. When I bought my house I decided I was going to change all 27 of them and two outlets later almost 2 hours later decided "fuck it I'll pay someone." Buddy of mine did them all for 2 cases of beer! He did all 17 of the light switches, installed two new door bells, the ringer, and a new front exterior porch light too!!:0074
