Lsu vs bama is a huge game for people who are tired of the SEC....

If lsu can beat bama, and give every team in the SEC atleast one loss, that makes it very likely that we could finally have a bcs title game with no sec team...

Kstate notredame and oregon all very likely could remain unbeaten.....they would all go before any 1 loss team....

So this game is huge for sec fans....

I 100% think the SEC is way above the rest, and most likely the best 2 teams come from there, but man I would love to see a championship game without a team from there....atleast for one year....because I do appreciate good football, which is what the sec brings...

This is a big game for all those SEC haters...which I know there is a lot...

I usually really like your pix and logic, however I think your wy off on the LSU selection. LSU WILL HAVE A REAL HARD TIME RUNNING THE FOOTBALL AND CERTINLY WON'T BE Able to chuck it. I'm guessing 23-6. Just cannot see Lsu scoring more than 9/10 points.

It would be a travesty if a one loss sec champion was not in the nc game.

I'm hoping LSU beats bama and 2 of the other top 3 stay undefeated and meet in title game....It would NOT be a travesty if a one loss SEC was'nt in the title game..Sorry but their are a lot of other very good teams and just because it's the SEC doesn't mean they deserve to be in title game. Hell Bama doesn't even belong no. 1 right now....last year was last year and it's a brand new year and they have beaten NOBODY thus far..Kansas St and ND have beaten better teams and deserve to this point to be ahead of them. SEC teams in the top 11?? are u fricken kidding me..Almost all of them play pussies oor non conf schedule so they all end up in top ten and then when they lose to each other they drop 3 stinking spots but if another good team in diff conf loses they drop 10 spots??? Really??? SEC is always solid at the top BUT they have at least 9 teams i can list that suck ass......

Would love to see LSU beat them as well. Love the SEC but totally agree.

As I always say, just a horrible system and no use discussing it all that much. Its not about finding the best team or even the most deserving. Its way more about where you start the season, how your opponents play to determine your actual strength of schedule, and of course when you lose.

Its all garbage. The 4-team playoff will help down the road but its not the final answer...

Believe me, I wish the play-in/play-off/plus 1 whatever they are calling it was this year. How great to have an undefeated Alabama, Oregon, ND and Kansas State meet up in a Final Four. Seems to me that if they are doing this in two years why in the hell can't you do it this year.

Sadly, LSU will not beat Alabama.

Neither of these two teams could stand up to Oregon's offense.

What makes you think they can't? Last two SEC teams Oregon faced (Auburn and LSU) would disagree.

I hope that Oregon and Bama finish undefeated so this question gets answered once and for all.

Dream on!:mj07: LSU won't beat Bama so we won't have to worry about that. I don't think anyone will beat Bama. I do hope we have 4 undefeated teams at the end of the year to show how fucked up the BCS is.

Lots of anti-SEC mindset in here. I'd like to see the best team from another conference beat the best in the SEC one time before saying a non-SEC involved NCG is legit.

As for Bama not deserving to be #1 that's just comical. As of right now they have looked better and more complete than anyone else in the country. KState has a small argument. Oregons schedule so far is weaker than Bamas and USC isn't gonna help the cause

Death Valley isn't going to be that much of an influence on this team. It doesn't make the mismatches in the O/D front 7s any less lopsided. And there's no Badger to help LSUs offense get past the 50

The only way we will ever get a real playoff system in college football is for the SEC to get screwed out of the National Championship game with a one loss team...we can only hope it happens soon :0074

Who has Bama beaten THIS season that has been any good??? NOBODY and To be honest Bama had no business being in title game last year...You can't win your conference you sure as hell shouldn't be playing for national title.....Kinda like OU when Kansas St. beat OU in conference title game..They as well had no business in national championship game....College football could be the best sport ever but they always fuck it up.....

The SEC and Mike Slive introduced a playoff system to all the major conferences about 10 years ago. It was the big 10 commish(Delany?) and the commisioner's from every other conference, ACC not included(their commish was in favor of it), that turned it down. It was all of the other conferences that wanted business as usual, not the SEC. Haters gon' hate I guess.

I will play that game. Nobody great. But they have dominated all those run of the mill teams in every facet of the game and nothing has even been close.

Kstate: An overrated OU team that just got exposed, an overrated WV team that has been exposed/embarrassed in back to back games, a TTech team that got killed by a mediocre OU, and who's "great defense" gave up 50+ in 3OTs to TCU.

This resume is not that impressive....

ND: has had way too many close games against mediocre teams to be considered the #1 team over Bama at this point. Purdue, Michigan, BYU, Stanford? None of these teams would be in the game at halftime vs. Bama. That's not really debatable... And so they beat the same Overrated chokelahoma team that KState did.

Resume is also not that impressive.

Arguably the only point you could make for either of these two teams to be ranked ahead of Bama is... They both beat an overrated OU team, which somehow makes their resume better than Bama dominating every aspect of their games vs. MARGINALLY worse competition.

And as weak as Bama's schedule so far has been, it's still laughable to compare to Oregon's. Just my opinion.

Yes, I think collectivley the sec is hands above the rest. As far as the "top two" teams, well that was more of an assumption just saying that the sec probably has them after their dominance of late...

But I have no clue who the best 2 teams are.

And yes, I do think without a doubt the sec provides good football, but never did I say that other big programs do not provide the same excitment...

As far as not wanting an sec team, just to add to the bcs chaos because I cannot stand the way it is setup.

If I as being honest, yes I think the best team is from the SEC...but the bcs will say different if all of the sec teams lose...

So to answer simply, yes my logic is most likely wrong, but tired of the bcs, and in no way can I say with certainty that the best 2 teams come from the SEC...

But yes sec guys, I think you are the best confrence and have the best talent and best programs...

So, who would you have put in the National Championship game?

I personally would have taken Ok. St. Had a great season with 6th toughest schedule. Just my opinion though...8 or 16 team playoff would end all arguments any of us had with any teams or what conf their in. Anyway good luck with your picks this weekend. :toast:
