didn't have a side either and I think they were legit calls...
Don't want this to turn into the NHL where the ref puts away the whistle in the 3rd period...
How exactly did the refs win the game for SD? The holding call WAS holding. You can't grab a guy around the chest when the ball is in the air. And the facemask WAS a facemask. SD outplayed Indy all night, at least that's how I saw it.

I know you hear all the time about refs, but in a game of this magnitude how/why would you put the team of refs that have called more flags than any other in the league to call the game??????? 3 first downs by penalty!!!!! And then you get Manning screwing the pouch

Not even close.
The Colts players shouldnt commit obviously & blatant penalties & they wont get called.

on the road you can not leave yourself in the postion the COLTS DID..
they had a 3rd and 2 to go in regulation to win the game..
they failed and end the end they lose..
one thing is for sure..
any match-up the rest of the way will be hard pressed to meet the drama and excitment of this game..

don't think a flag should have been thrown on the 3rd down play - broken play and Rivers lobs the ball - flag came WAY after supposed hold took place
not saying to swallow the whistle but that call to decide an OT playoff game is total bullshit
i think the holding call on that last pass was the real questionable call...........rivers was almost throwing it away...he heaved up a prayer balloon...

What do you guys want the ref to do when the guy has a hold of a guys facemask for a couple of seconds?
I f you bet SD and he doesn't call it, you would be screaming Manning and the Colts get all the calls...
