Workers at Costco rude??? Not sure who in this thread said this, but that is ridiculous. I have shopped at these stores so many times, and the employees act as if they enjoy jobs immensely (compared to others in the same industry).
I think this 'manager' needs to be reprimanded for this activity, but overall Costco gets my money because of the way they approach business and their employees.

I don't care if he had 800 items, his job is to check the receipts and he didn't do it. Would you feel the same if the guy worked for you and was giving shit away while collecting a paycheck from you?
LOL at age discrimination. Age discrimination would be not giving him the job because he was old. There is not discrimination against incompetence.
It was me. For the most part, I have encountered really nice employees at Costco. However, having shopped there so many times I have encountered a rude checker once and someone that was rude to me at the food station.
