People don't think I shot an 83, but they'll swallow this horse shit?

I believe you, no reason not to. I know you have been playing a lot and have seriously improved.

But I DO always put the cart back and sometimes other ones that weren't even mine.

I put all my coins on heads too and have no canned goods sitting in cabinets that are upside down.

I believe you do. Little things like that bother me, too. Always have.

A lot of people in this country are very luck others pick up after them.

so the wife and I are checking out of Costco today and the manager asks us if we would mind if he put an extra case of water on the bottom of the cart to make sure the workers are checking the receipts when we leave.

they are suppose to take the receipt, do a quick count and make their mark on the receipt.

i'm like sure...what do I care?

he puts the case of water on the bottom of the cart and he tells us an employee will be outside to take the water off the cart...

so, i'm heading to the exit and my wife is like "Oh NO!!, its a little old man!". I look and sure enough, this 70 plus year old man is checking people out...

I'm like oh chit....now what...b/c I know he's not gonna catch the extra water...fuk......I can't go back and the employee is milling around outside the door waiting for me...

so I go James Bond on em....as I hand him the receipt. I say under my breath..'check the water'...tried to say it w/o my mouth moving.:0003

well, of course he is either hard of hearing or didn't hear me..he looks at the receipt..makes his mark...and never looks at the cart...

the employee is outside just shaking her head...she grabs the water and mumbles..'he never even looked'...

well fuk me...i feel like an asshole..I hurry to the car and leave...we grab a bite to eat and I intenetionally go back and drive by the Costco and sure as shit...

he's gone...and the lady who busted him is standing there checking receipts with her red jacket......

damn....:sadwave: :sadwave:

:mj12: fukin Costco...

i guarantee I wouldn't have caught that extra water either...

Jesus H Christ
Was that in W. Nashville or Brentwood

I would never put a customer in that position to begin with........ I know both the GM's there and I doubt that either one of them would approve of this. The poor employee would be given a coaching and not even a counseling for this. Water is our number one shrink item on inventory along with paper towels and toilet paper, bottom of the basket stuff.
On a side note.....this really pisses me off BTW

I ask our people to check high dollar items only if the buggy is full. Our inventory loss is the best in all the retail industry. Not sure WTF they were attempting to do. Sorry, this is embarrassing to me and is not conducive as to how we do business.

Just got back to computer

It was Germantown store...

AND the mgr who asked to put the water on my cart also loaded my few other items in a box and put the fukin box on my water, so it was hard to see.

I guarantee no one would sit and count every item in those full carts. I only had about 8 items...still 85.00:0003

Also I don't even know why someone is at the door. You leave straight from register to exit...it's not like your going back thru isles to hit the exit ...

Anyway, I feel bad for the guy..

Btw.. I think they set him up...:nono:

Most times, this is done as a safety measure against the cashiers.

Example - your best friend is the cash register person, you roll up in your cart with a bag of frozen peas and a 65 inch plasma tv. Friendly cashier pretends to wave the scanner over the TV but never really rings it up.
You pay for the peas, and walk right out with your nice new tv.
The old guy at the door is supposed to make sure that doesn't happen.

Thanks. We were all puzzled for hours.
