Agent,

I saw the video when it came out and recalled the proximity of the child to the alligator a little more accurately than yourself obviously. Blackman confirmed my recollection. You accused me of not watching it because you said he was 6-8 feet away. LOL You were a little off. Get your facts straight next time please. Thank you. As far as your family interaction comment, thats your opinion. I am tired of discussing it.

As far as the rest, Dawg I hear what you're saying. But I dont really think I dismissed his intelligence. If I did, then I was wrong to imply that. I admit he's very knowledgable when it comes to his animals and his job and is very passionate about it. I just think he's got a screw lose somewhere to pull the possible "publicity stunt" (if you want to call it that) that he pulled with his child. It's just my opinion. No one will change that. Was the infant going to learn about handling a fear of alligators at that age? Agent would say yes. I would disagree.,

Look what happened to Siegfried or Roy. They know more about tigers than most, took the necessary precautions I am sure when dealing with them, but that didnt prevent a mauling. the same can happen with an alligator.

In the end, we all have our opinions. Mine are as follows....

Steve was an expert in his field....he was passionate about what he did and took certain risks......to me the child stunt is a risk that didnt need to be taken. He didnt deserve to die the way he did. I hope he rests in peace and his family has my condolences.

Can we move on?
