He's lucky massive didn't hit him. They'll have him tuned up and going better than he has in years when they're finished with him.

Best.

He'll be fine. You should be glad they caught it ahead of time. My father barely survived a heart attack in late 2008. He did end up surviving it because he ahd the right people around him at the right time. Had a triple bypass.

Doctor told him he should have been taking better care of himself and going to see the Doctor more often. Should have known about this before it might happen. Best of luck with your brother in law IE.

IE...best wishes to your brother-in-law and his extended family. He will feel much better once the recovery is complete.

I remember reading a post from Jack a while back where he said his cardiologist stated that age 50-60 are when a lot of people experience problems... glad they caught your bil's before worse happened.

Jack's post came home to me as I had a quad bypass at 55 with no signals beforehand...doc caught it at physical with ekg. Family history of heart problems are contributing factor...had 100, 100, 85, and 70% blocks...just glad to be here and feeling great.

Guys don't overlook your check-ups!!! Best to your family and keep us posted.

Turning 60 next month.

Chasing the Next Dime...
IE,

Thoughts and prayers for you and your brother and law. Its tough, but these days it is amazing how much they can repair. One of my business associates just had quadruple bypass 90% blockage. He is 44 years old. He had his surgery in Feb and now slowly getting back to it. Amazing how much of this is hereditary.

Ottawa General is one of the top hospitals in Canada. My Neighbour is a Thoracic Surgeon at Credit Valley here and he always talks about if he can't get work done at Credit Valley, then he wants to be shipped to Ottawa.

So he should be in good hands. Keep us posted and hope everything works out for you and the family!!
