Oh, what, you don't approve?

My dog isn't good enough for you?

. . . . and thanks for moving an oversized pic to another page.

Quit whining and crop your pic before it's deleted.

From experience, Once you get on his "pay no mind" list, it's impossible to get back off.

Be strong and we'll help each other out. :toast:

Here's our pooch, Herbie. Rescued him 3 years ago and we don't know his specifics but believe he is a spaniel-lab mix.

Here is our rescue dog puppy. I wasnt sure I was ready to get a puppy yet , but my wife said she had to have a dog around.

I went to the pound and found her and her brother. As I looked thru the window she looked at me and sat down like in the picture.

I took her into the dog room and she was very nervous and wouldnt come to me. I called my wife and told her how she acted and she said get the dog I want that one.

On the way home which was a hour ride I set her in the back seat of the truck. She stayed in one place the whole hour it took to get home and drooled alot on the seat. I was so afraid something was wrong with her and we would have to go thru putting another dog down.

She snapped out of it and now is very happy to be with us. She eats like someone is going to steal her food though.

Her brother got rescued 4 days later.

We named her Cooper which was the middle name of our last beloved Cayla. Damn I still think about that dog alot.

Life moves on .

dont look back

A JRT named Sparky who is about to turn 14. He' s spoiled and a big Zeppelin fan so he' s letting me watch their latest DVD release that I bought for him today for Xmas before the Poinsettia Bowl.

:toast:

coincidence that the dog that hangs out at the fruit and veggie stand i buy produce from is named cooper(he gets a strawberry or two every time i stop by).....and we named the squirrel that hangs out around our deck sparky....a walnut eating machine.....cute lil mofo,though...

/yeah,i`ve had a beer or two tonight...i know i`m not drunk because i can lay on the floor without holding on....

hope everyone has a healthy 2013...:0074

Burning building or shipwreck?

My wife sent in for a doggy DNA test so we could figure out what Walter is :SIB. We were completely wrong in our Collie/German Shepherd mix guess. He's Burnese Mountain Dog/Beagle with a touch of Redbone Coonhound

Neither, was on a class 4 mountain climb and found the poor guy.

We thought about doing that but figured it wouldn't matter much in the end.

You send away for the kit, which is a couple cotton swabs and a tube that comes with a mailer. Simple.

It cost $99, so it really isn't expensive. Kind of fun to see the results.
