I think the Vikes screwed the pooch. They were limited with picks and traded a fourth to move up 5 picks to draft a safety. Kiper gave him good reviews, played at Arkie St. never seen him. Could of stayed pat or drafted another position. Well maybe have a replacement for sharper:shrug:
they just took matt forte from tulane who was pretty productive with tulane..but don't know his size or what is speed is...
His first rounders are not that good but later rounds are awesome. They just think this kid was a reach.
think it was a good pick by minny...guy is a hitter...minny should be pretty tough on defense this year..

i don't know about that...they took the linebacker from ohio st.(name escapes me) last year who is going to be a very good player...& didn't they take a wide receiver the year before last (jennings ?) who is a quality player....
They took AJ Hawk 5th overall two years ago. They took Justin Harrell DT last year. Didn't suit up much. This year he might be good. Jennings was a third rounder I believe

think the bears will be tabbing Andre' Woodson for QB...

I hope so but I have my doubts. They haven't had great pass D in years. Allen helps but they have some ifs. Darrin Sharper is the most overrated safety in football, makes the pro bowl for name only. He gets burned often.. I would not shed a tear to see him leave. Chad Greenway showed signs of potential but was often lost. He needs to progress in his second year as starter. Lieber is just an ordinary linebacker. Corners were young except Winfield. Winfield great tackler but average cover corner.
Main thing was getting the defensive end to pressure the QB and give blitzing linebackers an open alley. Also they won't have to blitz as much. Dwight Smith was a joke at safety last year getting rid of him and adding Nedeiu Williams should be great.
not saying this a good thing, btw...just what ive been reading...

i made a mistake before when you were talking about dallas going after sweed & i said his speed wasn't impressive....kelly is the one who had the poor speed & not sweed...sorry about that..

Sweed is coming off an injury. He has great size & some good hands.
This would just put the icing on the cake for me today if Dallas gets him @ pick 61.
