Im off to church so i will miss the Saints pick. If Crabtree is avilable at #14 i hope the Saints either take him or trade the pick to acquire more picks because they sure need picks.

Later guys..

your team took jenkins from ohio st....good pick for them...

Did the NFL change the amount of time teams have to make picks? I have never really understood why people love to watch the draft so much since it is just so boooorrrrrring watching, at most if you're lucky, four guys get picked over the course of an hour. But I just turned it on, and it seems to be going much, much quicker.

Nice. I haven't watched it the last couple years, but it seems to just be flying by compared to what I was was used to.

bj..do you follow the nfl ?

I do, but not like MLB, college football or college hoops. Gambling and fantasy is what keeps me involved. In 2003, my old roommate was projected to drafted somewhere between 30 and 50. The draft started and we were all excited for it. Then we had the sudden realization that we had about six hours to kill before he even had a chance to go. LONG day.

I completely understand the importance of the draft... I just didn't enjoy watching to go on so slowly.

Holy shit! Freeman? At 17? None of the these QBs are worth a first-round pick IMO, and now three have gone in the first 17 picks?!?!

Started 3 of the last 6 years. Injuries cost him 2 of the 3 (including 2008). Still having knee problems, though. Signed with New England this offseason and is trying to rehab and hopefully he can earn a spot during camp. Healthy, he's a beast. But knee injuries in this sport are just murder.
