KD, in the chess one, you essentially have them play each other by playing white with one and black with the other and parroting the moves. I think this would work...

You play them in diffferent rooms or online...kind of like a pay service giving both sides of a game to half their customers..

cheers

What an idiot Mr. Fiend is. Why even bother mentioning anything about the frost?
He just cost himself 25 to life.

Oh yeah, you're right Cart.
I remember his lawer's defence, "If there's frost on the window, you have to let Fiend go".

Ozball - I completely agree with you. KD would have to be relying on the skills of the other players since he doesn't play the game himself. They would have to be unwittingly playing each other.

Board #1: P1 = White KD = Black
Board #2: KD = White P2 = Black
1st move made on Board #1 by P1 (white)
2nd move made on Board #2 by KD (white) mimicking P1
3rd move made on Board #2 by P2 (black)
4th move made on Board #1 by KD (black) mimicking P2
and so on and so on...

...hey, BahamaMama, my windows are so freaking old that I get dizzy trying to look through those bubble-ridden glass panes that are still in some of them...lol.

good one...

It took me about a 1/2 an hour, but your hint really helped....using the letter T from Time and that it was about time:

10 To 10 = 950

:D

Okay, I'm outta here for now...gotta take a time-out from all this torture...:)

Dogs that Bark or anyone - Here's one before I leave:

With only a handful of thumb tacks and a box of matches, devise a way to mount a short inch-thick candle on a bulletin board.

yes he got caught cheating with an ace.
The answer for the 55 cent question dosn't have to do with the wording does it?
You say one of the coins is not a nickel, does this mean the other one could be a nickel, if so a half dollar and a nickel.

...can't believe I found this one. :mj07: :mj07:

...thanks for finally updating the search, Jack...or IE...or "programmer dudes." ;)

Here are a couple for 6'5"......

1.) You throw away the outside and cook the inside, then you eat the outside and throw away the inside. What did you just eat?

?????????????????

2.) A fruit farmer was waging war against the blackbirds that were constantly sampling his cherry crop. One day Harry noticed 16 blackbirds dining on his favorite cherry tree. Determined to teach the birds a lesson they wouldn't soon forget, he got out his shotgun and blasted away at them. Although the farmer only managed to hit one of the birds, he did succeed in blowing it clean out of the tree. How many birds are now left in the tree?

??????????????????????

(...are you still out there, KotysDad???) :SIB

The 65th Square
some points

some points

first of all, in the hotel one with the missing dollar

you have to follow order or operations when you do the math

have to divide after adding and subtracting and so on.

now for the chess one that has been talked about

i have seen this done in tournaments

some tournaments have a four man team playing another four man team

for your team, your boards 1 and 3 are white with your boards 2 and 4 playing black

now, if you are the weaker team, your board 1 and 2 copy each other and your boards 3 and 4 copy each other

seems like you should tie the match

what do should the stronger team do?

and I have seen this done and been part of it

answer to follow

The 65th Square
here is the chess answer

here is the chess answer

games are timed

normally, each player might have 2 hours to make all his moves

so the stronger player sits and waits until he only has a few minutes on his clock

now, the weaker player following on the next board has to wait also and he only has a few minutes on his clock

the strong player starts moving really fast and blitzing out his moves ... strong players are really good at this

the weaker player can't keep up or loses on time

it works ... done it before
