KD, in the chess one, you essentially have them play each other by playing white with one and black with the other and parroting the moves. I think this would work...

You play them in diffferent rooms or online...kind of like a pay service giving both sides of a game to half their customers..

Ozball - I completely agree with you. KD would have to be relying on the skills of the other players since he doesn't play the game himself. They would have to be unwittingly playing each other.

Board #1: P1 = White KD = Black
Board #2: KD = White P2 = Black
1st move made on Board #1 by P1 (white)
2nd move made on Board #2 by KD (white) mimicking P1
3rd move made on Board #2 by P2 (black)
4th move made on Board #1 by KD (black) mimicking P2
and so on and so on...

have to divide after adding and subtracting and so on.

now for the chess one that has been talked about

i have seen this done in tournaments

some tournaments have a four man team playing another four man team

for your team, your boards 1 and 3 are white with your boards 2 and 4 playing black

now, if you are the weaker team, your board 1 and 2 copy each other and your boards 3 and 4 copy each other

seems like you should tie the match

what do should the stronger team do?

normally, each player might have 2 hours to make all his moves

so the stronger player sits and waits until he only has a few minutes on his clock

now, the weaker player following on the next board has to wait also and he only has a few minutes on his clock

the strong player starts moving really fast and blitzing out his moves ... strong players are really good at this

the weaker player can't keep up or loses on time

it works ... done it before
