EXERCISE FOR PEOPLE OVER 50 !

Begin by standing on a comfortable surface, where you have plenty of room at each side.
With a 5-lb potato bag in each hand, extend your arms straight out from your
sides and hold them there as long as you can. Try to reach a full minute,
and then relax.

Each day you'll find that you can hold this position for just a bit longer. After a
couple of weeks, move up to 10-lb potato bags.

Then try 50-lb potato bags and then eventually try to get to where you can lift a
100-lb potato bag in
each hand and hold your arms straight for more than a full minute. ( I'm at this level. )

After you feel confident at that level, put a potato in each bag.

LOL, good one :)

LOL, good one :)

Actually, I'd be curious to know how many MJ'ers over 40 get regular exercise. I bet it aint that much. I'm just 40, and I can't hit the weights as hard as I use to. Actually, lost a lot of strength since I was in my twenties and early thirties. However, I still can peel off 5 miles lickity split...

Wow, I have such a vision of you running down the beach in an all white outfit, Chariots of Fire playing in your headphones, just lickity splitting those miles off one at a time.

Simply breathtaking.

By the way this was a joke thread dumbass.

I turned 50 last September and I'm in the gym 3-4 days a week. Certainly don't lift nearly the weight I did when I was younger, nor do I want to. More days of lighter weights and more reps these days than heavy lifts and less reps.
