Indianapolis(+7) over Buffalo (1*)
- - Indy is a dome team that is built to play outdoors. As Mooch might say, ?Gonna be a close game, lots of fun.?

New Orleans(+3) over Philadelphia (1*)
- - New Orleans with the advantages of Sean Payton at the helm has been strong ATS as a dog, on the road, and after a loss. Maybe no team in the NFL loses less than NO by going from their first string to second string QB. Philadelphia has thrived against defenses that give up big plays and are weak against the run and will have the benefit of neither in this game.

Minnesota(+1)(-105) over Green Bay (1 Biscuit)
- - Bettors find Green Bay paying out like a broken slot machine with a rare 9-0 ATS run. QB Rodgers looked rusty last week, and with Covid and toe-vid issues, has still practiced only about twice in the last 3 weeks. Minnesota leads the league with 29 sacks, and Rodgers under pressure has a 14.9 passer rating this year. GB was ?buggered up? big time before the Seattle game, and it only got worse. HC Matt LaFleur said right after the Seattle game that it seemed like he had a tired team (which makes real sense with no bye yet for his short handed roster, and today makes 7 of 11 games on the road). GB will be facing lots of energy in the U.S. Bank dome, without the benefit of the seats being filled with 30+% Packers fans. Everything I know about the NFL, and most everything I?m seeing from Green Bay and Minnesota, has me feeling a road win against a quality division rival today is likely a bridge too far.

Dallas(+3)(-130) over Kansas City (1*)
- -

Houston(+10) over Tennessee (1*)
- - I like QB Tyrod Taylor in small doses but not for a whole season, and his squad should be poised to play reasonably well against the division kings, while nothing about this spot suggests a particularly best of November effort by the Titans.

Los Angeles Chargers(-6) over Pittsburgh (1*)
- - I'm going with offense over defense in prime time, despite the Steelers home game on the road.

Seattle(-3) over Arizona (1*)
- -

Washington(+3)(+100) over Carolina (1*)
- -

Detroit(+13) over Cleveland (1*)
- - I wanted to play Detroit last week, but I didn't. I tried to stay away today, but I haven't. I am 0-4 ATS or worse on Detroit games this season.

Chicago(+1) over Baltimore (1*)
- - I was leaning to Baltimore even though I thought Chicago would give a good account of themselves before Lamar was out. Now I'm not so sure about how Baltimore goes, and I definitely believe the line is not adjusted enough for the loss of an MVP QB on the road.

- - The winless Detroit regime will pull out some stops and will play with plenty of belief and no quit in this Super Bowl spot, and QB Goff has played well in much bigger spots than this. IMO, whatever Chicago brings will not produce any knockout against their hungry division rival.

Dallas(-7) over Las Vegas (1*)
- - My only definite play today was in the first game, and if that had lost I would be sitting out the rest of the day . . . My feel for Vegas games this year was good while Gruden was coach, and has seemed way off every week since legendary Rich Bisaccia took over. Regardless, it sure hasn't looked like Derek Dallas Carr and his cohorts have been moving in the right direction to clean up the bad ball they've been putting on tape, and a short week seems better suited to some buttoning up by a team built in a way and playing like Dallas.

New England(+3)(-115) over Buffalo (1*)
- - Simply put, the ridiculous weather I'm looking at will have a huge impact on this game, from start to finish. I think the conditions might greatly favor Buffalo at QB, and might greatly favor New England with the game plan they have prepared and the strengths of their attacks. I'll take the dog and the points.
