Way to try and turn that one around. There is a solution that keeps slapping you in the face and you just keep shrugging it off. Take away the guns! Why not worry about how to get the guns out of people's hands instead of denying it can be done. You're part of the thoughts and prayers crew that wants everything but is willing to do jackshit. I am willing to go this route, are you?
-I have already said to take away the guns altogether.
-If that's too rash, I've said eliminate everything put hunting rifles (in other threads where kids got killed).
-If that's too much, I've said to impose extremely harsh penalties for anyone caught in possession of a gun while committing a crime.
-I've said we should institute the death penalty for anyone who injures or kills (even accidentally) another person with a firearm.
-I've said you should lose your right to own a gun if you commit a traffic violation.
How many ideas have you put forward? None, because you're all talk no walk. You don't want to solve the problem, you want it to magically disappear.
