and it tires pit def out. chasing flacco around and running to protect the deep threat. we have you by the balls :mj07:

meanwhile, and you don't notice it, but we are running the ball down your throat.

you better hedge your bets ;)

On the course!
I'm just hoping B'more can grab a quick score, and then a defensive score!

:00hour

(Jack, my "line" is in a contest I am in with some guys here. The half point was added to USAToday's line to avoid any ties.)

To be honest.......if the line would have been 5', I would have went with Pitt. They are the team I actually like, but I just think it's gonna be a low, close, game.

this game reminds me of 00/01 when the ravens went to oakland right after they beat ten in ten. nobody gave the ravens a chance (with dilfer?) to win in oakland.

then nobody gave the ravens a chance to win the sb (with dilfer?) vs the giants.

they completely dominated both games.

now they can't win with the "rookie" and the "injuries"

:sadwave:

GO RAVENS!

"the bunker"
All this chatter with QB ratings, past games, injuries, and bye weeks don't mean dick. These two teams will go all out for 60 minutes. IMO there's only 2 guys that can beat Pittsburgh, and that's Big Ben or Tomlin. If Ben doesn't make mistakes and Tomlin doesn't make stupid moves they will advance..

:mj09: :mj09: :mj09: :mj09:

you discount the 17 straight weeks without a rest and the ravens` injuries?...

and base this on the first 2 games these teams played?....:mj03: games that were tighter than a gnat`s a-hole?....

imo,if suggs doesn`t play...or is seriously hampered, the ravens pass rush will be null and void (as we saw against tennessee)...

and if they can`t pressure ben,it`s gonna be tough...

if i were harbaugh i`d have spent this past week figuring out ways to pressure roethlis. in case t-sizzle can`t go....

trying to be fair,brother.......one thing they can`t discount is that one little thing you can`t put your finger on....

the fact that the ball`s been bouncing the raven`s way late in the season......and the last time that happened,i believe it was early 2001...;)

this team has that funny mojo going again...

HUH? are you even serious?

we lost 5 games and were only beaten in 2 games (IND and NYG). the bounces and calls went to PIT and TEN. i can't even believe you said that.

i didn`t mean it like that....i`m saying that this post season has that same "feel" as the superbowl season...defense making big plays...offense playing smart ...making a big play when they need it...

they`re making their own luck....and this offense is much better than the super bowl offense...

and btw......harbaugh needs to use ray rice on some screens and stuff...he`s healthy, use him...he gives them another dimension...

So. Cal
you're right, i have no idea what i'm talking about, the ravens have been lighting it up on offense in the post-season

211 total yards (vs 400)
11-22 passing
13 points on offense

286 total yards
9-23 passing
20 points on offense

now they face a defense that's better than mia or tenn and at home in the cold/snow......another similar performance to what they've shown on offense and they will get beaten soundly.

as for the injuries.......eventually, they take their toll esp when they are to key players.....rolle, suggs are key players who look like they are out....mclain didnt look the same with his ankle injury and heap is obviously hurting.....if you dont think these injuries matter, you're either a homer or living in a fantasy world.

takikng your viewpoint...balt could win, but it wouldnt mean i was worng!

:)

198 yards of offense
ZERO plays made today (their only two plays were pass int in the endzone that set up 2 short td runs

no mcclain on offense, obviously his ankle wouldnt allow for him to run the ball nad forced them to put the ball in flacco hands just like i expected....and bad news was to follow....he's lucky he didnt have 5 int.

no rolle on defense plus more db's going down meant scrubs out there on the corners where they were already vulnerable..pit should have had 7 more if limas sweed had any hands

balt hung around like i thought they would....my 27-10 was way off base.....then again, i have no idea what im talking about
