On the course!
I just watched Brian's Song this past weekend. Sayers was something else!

he was my hero growing up
he was a legend.

"Give me 18 inches of daylight," Sayers once said. "That's all I need."

Hudson Valley area.....NY
Wow... what a great running back ,,smooth and had great moves ..with his head and upper body could lean left, look left ,hips turned left ,pivot and turn right and he was gone. Think in the 1965 draft the NY Giants picked just ahead of the Bears and took from Auburn Tucker Fredrickson ...think Butkus was in the same draft..
My memory of Gale ... he just blew thru a hole ,stutter stepped a NY Giant line backer and there was Spider Lockhart or Willie Williams waiting for Gale ...and in second those 2 db's were chasing him from behind. I know he is up there running thru the clouds and he needs no blockers ...RIP Gale..

Him and Bo....two who could have been the greatest rb ever if not for injuries....and I still think both are top 5-10 talents but injuries and shortened careers have to account for something (just like i don't think frank gore is an all time great solely because of longevity)
