Wow wire is IMO the best tv show of all time
The shield and breaking bad round out my top 3. Honorable mention to west wing.

That's harsh man. Though I agree with your top 3 are definitely in my top 10.
I didn't pay attention to the Emmys but if i recall it's not like the Oscars where there are all sorts of secondary costume and production awards that GoT might have one more had this been awards for movies instead of TV.
As far as the acting goes I don't think there is anything that standout from GoT that made it an Emmy slam dunk. It's the whole package that makes it good, not one performance.

My ex wife used to say that anytime a show had a midget in it it was proof they were reaching,the show was lacking in plot,and it was a sign it was going to be off TV soon.See Twin Peaks. Maybe it was the midget factor. Just foolin,dont watch Game of Thrones (because theres a midget on it)

Would have expected GOT to win at least something. I've never watched Breaking Bad but have heard nothing but good reviews about it.

I watched UR lame ass interview on u tube out of curiosity if u could speak intelligibly. It was really profound: a good novel has to have a strong beginning, middle, and end! I learned something from that, that even a published author can speak like a moron.
