Lets get back to talking about why game of thrones is an average at best show

#stringerbell

I never would of heard of it except for the thread titles posted here on the site.

I couldn't tell you one thing, not one, even if there was a million dollar prize for the correct answer.

I would assume 2 things. It's a 1 hour show that airs during prime time but I couldn't tell you if it's Network or Premium channel.

I know more about the Bible and that's not saying much.

I guess I don't know more about the Bible. I can think of 2 things. It's the top selling book of all time and the cover is black.

Agree, lets get Joker and Edludes a red card each for their unnecessary bashing. Now are we only dealing with Game of Thrones or all average shows that Kickserv watches? Because if it is the latter, we may just want to set up a whole new sub-forum.

Don't know why kickserv is complaining. He isn't even a real fan of the show. What kind of "fan" refuses to read the books the show is based on?

sometime ago watched again a few episodes of GoT and i have to admit, it didn't get any better. When the surprise factor is gone it's pretty average.

show isn't bad at all but i rather watch again Eastbound and down or Trailerpark boys...

interesting that you mentioned it...this is something that has also occurred to me about different movies/shows....i personally love game of thrones but i think that half the fun is the shocking way that the writers twist the plot and willingly zap some of the public`s favorite characters on the show...not the usual "hero/good guy is invulnerable and always finishes on top' tripe...as far as reweatching shows, the sopranos is the same way...i loved it to death when it was on and i was seeing it for the first time...but i can`t watch the reruns for some reason.....not interested..

some movies i really like i can watch over and over again...i might even watch them over a movie that i`ve never seen that is on at the same time(some that come to mind are dragon tattoo/the ninth gate/hombre/the original the thing with james arness/no country for old men)....even some movies that weren`t big hits like the remake of narrow margin with gene hackman and anne archer i can watch over and over again...just never get tired of seeing them...

for some reason some movies that really knocked my socks off(goodfellas/lonesome dove/platoon/appocalypse now/scarecrow with pacino and hackman) and loved every bit as much as anything i`ve seen i just need a lonng time between viewings.....

just rambling....
