Why was she banned? Was it really just for posting tennis in the MLB forum? I've read through the posts on here and all I can see is Jack sent her an email about something...

I think everyone knew it was 99.5% likely it was not a young girl, but I found the "schtick" amusing, frankly, and it doesn't matter if they are posting valuable information and/or winners. No kid this girl's age (male or female) would have the betting experience or breadth of knowledge in the vast sporting areas he/she does, just not possible.

Secondly, people seem to freak out when they think someone's posting with the intent of going pay at some point. Who cares? No one forces you to pay for anything. Are we not adults? So, you take their winners and if they go pay you don't pay. I don't understand what the problem is. It's easy to see the motivations behind stuff like this, but I don't see why it matters if they are posting relevant info/picks.

Well

From a business stand point, if she wants to do business she can pay for a banner instead of trying to hook people acting like a naive person with a lot of luck who figured she is very good, as good as she have to charge people instead of make a profit with her knowledge, all bull crap for me, she was touting from the first day, and once you let that people do it you will have the forum full or rats and mercenaries

She was off the hook because MJ wasnt around (i do not know why, hehe), and when she started to hint service was just a meaning of time, if you ask me, she just show the true colours throwing the number for her picks, not classy at all!!

Well said... who gives a shit what the motivation was if they're contributing winners for free. Once they're not then move on.

Exactly. And, if a person proves himself and people want to pay him (see Thunder and Senior Capper) more power to both the buyer and the seller. To each his own. The flow of info, the winning/fading picks are all useful in their own way. Now, of course, Hanna posting about paying her for the picks was foreseeable, yes, but so what? At that point Jack does whatever he wants and we all move on.

People act like they're solving the disappearance of Jimmy Hoffa. It was kind of obvious Hanna highly likely a "he" and had ulterior motivations, but I fail to see how any individual is personally affected by a fake poster who posted many good picks.

Anyway, moving on...

Well, I assume if Jack doesn't want someone around he just bans them. Of course he/she is not classy, but was still amusing. I don't know, I just don't see why people getting all bent out of shape when she/he posted some good picks. I found it amusing, but, perhaps I have too much free time on my hands? Jack answered my question, though, she's not banned, so she just left.

KsYaS nailed it.

If a tout comes in here and tells people to come to his site for his picks, that's not permitted. Why should I provide free traffic to some scumball that rolls in? No business allows that. Walmart wouldn't allow Target to setup a kiosk out front getting customer information and offering perks to leave Walmart and visit Target.

Same with sportsbooks. They can't just roll in here and post links and offer perks to get customers for free. This is a business and if they want exposure to gambling traffic they can pay for it.

He (Hanna) doesn't have a website and was luring people to youtube, facebook, twitter, and whatever else. Same difference, why should I let him do that? I did let him for awhile but he started getting carried away with it. I told him to stop or pay for it and he said bye.

I'll sell ads to touts but I'm not letting them sit back and laugh at me because they think they are getting over on me and that's what this fucker was doing. Every move he made was deceitful and I allowed it for way longer than most other forums did.

You don't see touts advertising here because they won't pay the price and I'm not coming down for them. THUNDER and Senor Capper pay but they are not permitted to tout themselves in the handicapping forums. I don't even allow them to do that and they pay and I'm supposed to let Hanna? Nope.

Makes sense from a business perspective. I guess others are just getting upset on your behalf. I figure when you've had enough, you'll deal with it.

Yup... makes perfect sense. It's a social site but also a business... I did not consider the ramifications beyond cute persona and winning picks.

But the pseudo sherlock holmes bit by some was fucking stupid.

You gotta admit she caused some excitement. I understand Jack's decision but for the life of me can't understand why some people got so pissed off.

The study of why some at MJ's get so pissed off about other posters would certainly make for an interesting sociological experiment............
