nice to hear you're feeling ok.. Stay inside, and whatever you do, dont catch a cold for about 3 weeks, lol.. Blowing your nose will be a bloody trainwreck for awhile.. At least you didnt have the gauze stuff.. I cant imagine having a string bull-ring feels that good though, either..

Stay away from dust or anything that makes you sneeze..

Eat as much ice cream as possible! :SIB

now they have 'gel' packs in my nose which will dissolve naturally,

no pulling of gauze,

Hang in there pal. You look great compared to what I looked like in 1999 when I had similar surgery.

Wow they have come along way. Thank goodness you do not have to go through the gauze pulling, man it hurts just thinking about it.

Update:

I am feeling much better today. Last couple of days have been painful...

still swallowing 'stuff'..doctor says this is normal.

dr. told me that 'rope' under my nose is attached to 'spacers' he is going to PULL OUT on monday morning.

he told me to DOUBLE my pain medicine before my appointment.

:sadwave: :mj08: :mj08: now, when the doctor tells you to take double your pain medicine...I have a feeling its going to HURT LIKE HELL!!!:scared :scared

I am anxious to see if/when I start breathing better....

Spacers! That's what they were! Just slid those suckers straight up and out. Didn't hurt at all Lawrence. He removed a couple of other things which I won't describe but I definitely don't remember being in pain or uncomfortable.
