I agree...Tressel is great prep coach but by no means is this one a guaranteed win...I'm glad we have several things in our favor...Tressel's record against Mich, Troy has always played great against Mich, and we are at home...
The university is spending another 100K and putting new turf just for "the game"...they are putting in this week...
Gman, spoke to handicapper last night that has about 40 yrs of expierence and he helped explain why the line would be 6-7 pts...
boise does have a tough game at Nevada but they should get through.

it's funny that Texas could win out and possibly be #2 in the AP going into their BCS game (although i wouldnt be surprised to see some team leap Texas in the coming weeks) and wind up playing the lowest ranked BCS team.
nothing against Boise, but I think the better game would be Auburn vs Texas & ND vs Boise.

that's a big "if"...Sorry beef up the schedule then maybe people would start to take WV seriously...I'm not worried about the Little East at all...they'll take care of themselves...I don't think we'll see an undefeated team come out of that conference...pulling for the Rutgers though...
I've seen WV play several times this season and they are one dimensional...put 8 in the box and make White throw the ball...I mean come on people he's a glorified RB playing QB...he has only thrown for over 150 three times this season and his total six passing TDs says it all...
After Thursday Louisville will be the team everyone is talking about but they'll stumble against Pitt or S. Florida....
Its been unfortunate that Louisville lost Bush because this team healthy is the real class of the Big East....

If I recall correctly from last year, Louisville was the class of the big east going into Morgantown. Maybe you caught the instant classic result of that game on ESPN.
I think to say that Pat White cannot throw the football is an understatement and to say he only averages 150 per game is not considering the fact that when a team rushes for 300 ypg, they dont need to throw for 300 and and 3 td's.
I guess if you're Louisville this Thursday you're happy this game is at home instead of at the Carrier Dome where they struggled against a JV team in Syracuse.

I think its a bad sign that Brohm has struggled recently. My impression of him until he returned from the injury is that he was undoubtedly a Top 5 to 10 QB in the country. The kid is accurate and doesn't make mistakes. Im not sure what the issue is recently.
All I'm hoping for is another victory. I'm not sure even a sound one would garner any respect. Best to appreciate this team for what it is and thats one of the most entertaining teams in the country.
Best of luck to anyone who makes a play. Im gonna have some BBQ going and the beers flowing pulling for the Mounties.

considering that the most important player on the field in this game (troy smith) wasnt even the starting quarterback against texas last year, im not sure how thats a relevant game to reference.
