First three contestants bite for a combined 71 points of chalk (including doubles). Don't choke on all that! Would hate to see a "reversal" because y'all stuffed yourselves with too many favorites.

Hippo starting to get woozy - her face shows the same complexion as the very chalk she so eagerly consumed...

Mr. Mel starting to regret laying so many points, but it's too late - he's immobilzed by his own gluttony of chalk...

Rolltide enters the week with enthusiasm. "Mmmmm, look at all those favorites!"...

But after laying so many points, his body reaches a breaking point. He simply ate too much chalk....

Shit! Well, I wish he would! Just realized Mr. Mel is extremely constipated.:com: Normally I wouldn't discuss this on the internet, but it seems like 'inside info' right now. This explains his lack of enthusiasm for the biscuits in week 2. Near as I can tell, he hasn't had a 'movement' in 3 days. I watched him try and try to squeeze one off yesterday and today. Even went and got him some pills today that will help him out.

May have to completely switch his methods as it may be all the biscuits backing him up:mj07: Mr. Mel take 7!

Wow. So early in the season and Mel is already having so many problems. I'm having my doubts if he took the pre-season seriously. You may end up being forced to platoon Bear in the lineup until Mel's conditioning improves.

That said, you may want to have a system in place for the moment Mel's pipes clear. There's probably a lot of genius backed up right now.

Titans can run and play pretty good D. Should be enough of a factor to keep the game fairly low.

STL/SF Under 44
Niners travel across country on short week after very lackluster offensive show. They should run a lot. More Gore, less Smith. STL couldn't do anything on offense once Pace was out. They will improve on offense this week, but probably not by much. Should be conservative on both sides.

This is a Happy Hippo fade play. In the past I've always fallen for the Bronco home game trap in a situation like this - but not this time. What would this line be if Denver didnt make that field goal? ...Or if Oakland didn't turn it over at the end against Detroit? This should be kind of a grinder. I see Oak in it late.
