The union's investigation, like a similar probe organized by the NFL, isn't a law enforcement inquiry, and the parties involved aren't under any legal obligation to comply with requests.

So why should they?

The Ravens have $3 million plus salary cap riding on this. It's business.

Haven't they said they want the truth on this issue?

I don't follow it because I really don't give a shit but I think they feel like they have the truth.

They cut him, they aren't paying him, he's suing for his $3 million, and they don't want to pay. That's what this is all about. Nothing else. The case with the NFL and the Ravens are completely different. He will probably win with the NFL but he can go whistle on Greenmount Ave for his $3 million. They have every right to cut him for whatever reason.

With $3 million on the line why would anybody in their right mind offer information if they aren't legally required to do so? THAT would be stupid.

On the course!

Because they have nothing to hide. If they are so sure that they have done the right thing, why would 3 million be on the line? Won't the union find the same thing?

Or, perhaps the NFL/Ravens, looked at this mess the same way they look at gambling? "We see it one way, normal people see it another".

After all, they covered this whole mess up from Jump Street.

Because they have nothing to hide.

It's got nothing to do with hiding anything. He's going after the Ravens for his salary in 2014 and they cut him, so done deal. He's saying they can't cut him because he can't be disciplined for the same offence 2 times. The only case the Ravens are concerned with is; do they owe him the money or not.

Hide what?

Nothing in that story mentions anything about any 3 million dollars.

The Ravens aren't involved in the lawsuit against the NFL. Ravens are being sued separately for Rice's salary that he wasn't paid. Why the fuck should they cooperate with the case against the NFL if they aren't legally obligated to?

That's my understanding but what do I know? Maybe nothing.

"the bunker"
if this mofo gets reinstated it`s going to be very interesting to see if any nfl team has the coulumes to sign him after the shitstorm the little woman beater put the nfl through....

the ravens don`t want to pay him......don`t blame em.....particularly in light of the fact that they`re potentially on the hook for a serious kick in the wallet if dennis pitta`s career is done(and many feel like it probably is)...
