The union's investigation, like a similar probe organized by the NFL, isn't a law enforcement inquiry, and the parties involved aren't under any legal obligation to comply with requests.
So why should they?
The Ravens have $3 million plus salary cap riding on this. It's business.
Haven't they said they want the truth on this issue?
With $3 million on the line why would anybody in their right mind offer information if they aren't legally required to do so? THAT would be stupid.
Because they have nothing to hide.
Nothing in that story mentions anything about any 3 million dollars.
