Don't lie and say ten when you only know nine!

Psalm 34 has 22 verses.

I memorized the first six.

Sixteen more to go!

The one Coolio uses in "Gangster's Paradise". "As I walk through the valley of the shadow of death"

I can still recite all of psalm 23, although that is not very long...

I like the part..."He makes me lie down in green pastures, He leads me by still waters." Now that I can accept!! No divisiveness there :)

I know a bunch more, as we were required to learn one a week in school growing up, but that is my favorite that I remember...

He had a new album last year that didn't sell much called "The Return of the Gangsta"... but I've never heard anything off it. I know he's done some acting here and there, as well.

"Jesus wept". It's the shortest verse in the Bible, but I don't know which one it is.

BTW - It's rumored that the reason Jesus wept, is because he didn't obey the verse mentioned by IO.

Never knew you were with it bro

I always admired his corn rolls!

One of my first dates with my first love at 16 was to see Dangerous Minds, so I always think of her when I hear that song. His song "Fantastic Voyage" was also playing at the start of another, um, significant moment in that relationship. So I've always had a soft spot for Coolio.

Although I must admit that the "where is he now" information came courtesy of Wikipedia, not my own knowledge.

A few days ago, I had the opportunity to go with a preacher to a homeless shelter. On the way, he quoted this verse:

Isaiah 26:3 (KJV)

"Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee."
