Get the phuk outta here! Is this no BS?

I'm bummin'.

Jon, if you're lurking, is this true?

You're in my prayers if so Jon.

I hope you find the proper donor.

Take care.

This news just plain sucks!!!!!!!!!

I wish there were something I could do but my blood type is incompatible. If I were still in the area, I could be a bit more proactive however I'm going to e-mail the flyer to all my friends in the Northern VA area. Here's hope that someone will be able to come through for Jon and his lovely wife.

Thanks

Thanks

Jack and everyone else for the well wishes. The last month or so things have gotten worse (extra meds, fatigue, spells of brief temporary blindness, etc.). I really hate asking for help because I have always stood on my own two feet, but anything anyone can do like emailing the site info to their friends, or posting the flyer on a community board or their local church would be greatly appreciated. Thanks again!!

sorry to hear, Jon!

How does one get tested? I'm O+ and in pretty good health (other than bad back, arthritis which shouldn't matter); only worries for me would be time off from work/finances, but I'm sure that could be worked out.

let me know...

WoW. Talk about a reality check.

Really sorry to hear about this. Kinda hits home sense I am 33 as well.

We wish you the best & hopefully somehow this works out for you.

One question that I have is that in that flyer you kinda make it sound like even if you do get the kidney that you are still not likely to get healthy...is that the case? I thought generally if you get a new kidney & the body accepts it you are in pretty good shape.

Jon,
I don't know you, but I feel lke we are one big family here at Madjack's so I was very saddened by the news. Stay strong and keep up the fight - you are young and I feel strongly that this will all work out well in the end. Thoughts and prayers are with you for a successful recovery!!!

jon,

So very sorry to hear about your kidney problems.

I know about trying to get thru a life threatening situation, it's tough but stay positive and keep fighting.

My thoughts and prayers are with you in fighting this disease and finding a donor.

Hang in there my friend.

I am O+ and would be very willing to be tested to see if I am a match I just need to know what to do. I looked on the website but didn't see where or what to do about testing. If I have an extra one that you can use then you are welcome to it. I am at a loss as to what to say to you that will give you some comfort as I know that there aren't really any, so with that I will say that you are in my thoughts and prayers Jon. Take care of yourself as best as you can.
