I have put up the fliers at two churchs. One that we attend and one my best friend goes to.

I think there are programs where you can actually buy a kidney.

We should start a drive to get money to buy kneifl a kidney from India and have it shipped UPS
in a cooler with a few six packs of beers.

Kniefl....

I, like some others here, would like to know how to be tested. What do I need to do. I'll get tested to see if I can help. Let me know....

Jon, just saw this and it stopped me in my tracks.

I am A+ and willing to get tested to see if there is a match. What is the next step?

Thoughts and prayers are out to you.

I called the Red Cross to see what my blood type was from donating, but I got the run around. My cousin works in this area, and she gets back in town tomorrow.

Have you thought about setting up a page on caring bridge? it's a good place to have setup for all of your family and friends to communicate with you.

If you want, I will set it up for you.

On another thought, I am using this as a wake-up call that I could be helping in other ways as well. I won't be a match for Jon here, but I did take it as motivation to schedule an appointment to give blood this Friday at 10 am.

yep, fantastic site! Mainly geared towards cancer in my experience, but I think Jon's condition would definitely qualify. I visit a friend's page almost daily, and I have an armband I wear in her honor all day every day. Helps me to think about her often.

Hang in there Kneifl.

If I recall, you have relatives or lived in Newcastle Ne. I played semi-pro baseball there and know many people in Newcastle and Ponca.

I really hope everything works out for you, Jon.

I serve on the board for the National Kidney Foundation. Jack, you have my e-mail. If you can forward information to me, I'll try to pull some strings. I can't promise anything, but will see what can happen.
