We used to pick up generators at GE. They were loaded on flat cars with cars as spacers. GE had their own power that moved the cars out to the siding.
We used to get oppossums that sat on the tracks and would say "look there's an oppossum playing dead" but it was too late.
csx transports 125 unit coal cars onto our property. we have eight tracks. I bring a string of cars into our car dumper and dump them, pushing the empties back out when done. pretty cool to see...
