Yeah - watch Lou Dobbs and you'll see how much we hate the Communists in China. ....Well if hate were measured in dollars and outsourcing anyway. Our trade policy with that Communist nation has to be the biggest pile of hypocracy going right now. Not blaming any sides - seems like it would be the same under any administration. :cursin: Simply further proof that we are more loyal to the dollar than stupid overused words like "freedom".

Thanks MC and yes smurphy, that is correct.

MC,

I didn't even touch on the ridiculous 75% of terrorists out of commission claim because you covered about all of it. That's total and complete nonsense.

China dam near owns us why fight us. But we can't stop them there buying our bonds to off set our deficit. And we give them our jobs through our true blue American companies that worry more about there C E O's making a extra 3 or 4 mill a year. Screw your country seems to be our big business plan. Like Wall Mart. Old Sam was proud when he said 90% of things in my stores come form U S A. Now 90% comes from China/Malaysia & Taiwan.

Sure, on the backs of the oppressed working proletariat (He-he, sounded like Eddie there for a second).

Matt, you know that China is perpetrating a State sponsored capitalist movement. Few of the benefits reach the real folks over there. Yeah, some might be able to buy a cell phone or a burrito now and then, but in general all that good stuff goes to the government.

Don't get me wrong, I'm making a killing in my business with the price of metals and other commodities at these bubble levels. All my customers got money to burn and are burning it. The problems the price we'll have to pay down the road. Not only the U.S., the whole damn world. China will be sweeping up some markets based on low / subsidized costs, will take more jobs from us and will continue to put out inferior quality material all for the sake of grabbing up the market.
At the same time they will start buying and taking over in smaller countries through financing and implementation of construction projects, etc. while supplying crappy quality and perhaps dangerous environments. After being screwed without Vaseline, then they'll all come to realize that on top of that they are married to these project developers for 30 or more years for maintenance, spares, technology not accessible to outsiders, etc.

If you fools think that's a fallacy, get e frickin' reality check. I've been in the International business for a long time and this China thing will do us no good. But, hey, ya'll take out your red flag and wave away. It's all a fallacy and red China wants to be just like us. They have "seen the light" and want to "change their ways". I wouldn't trust one of them sumbithces if they paid me up front with gold.

And Taiwan better look out for themselves. i can't see us going to war with China over that. Hell, I doubt Wolfowitz wants to got to war with China. We usually pick the easy ones, anyhow (see Iraq).

Wayne,

"I'll try to dig up some stuff later on my other computer that refutes 90% of that crap about 'chinagate'. I've read all that stuff before and it's almost all exaggerated or just lies. I guess like anything else, it depends on the source, but as you said, if all that was true "

I will be glad to see what you dig up Matt--If you noticed I said they were from sources I was skeptical and noted also with you ,if all was true they would have had to put him behind bars.
Will be curious what you find.

"Well when you fail to admit to disclose that you had a DUI and another arrest when you run for political office in most places that would be considered lying"

I would say IF he didn't volunteer info he was stupid knowing it would pull up--if he was asked about it--stood and shook his dick in your face saying he didn't and swore under oath he didn't then I would say he was definately lying ;)

and on top terrorist captured list--maybe you would like to counter with list of top terrorist captured in MR Clintons administration--
I'll bet anyone $20 the list of felons he pardoned is larger--any liberal takers--I didn't think so. :)

This is quite amusing--do a search of-- Clinton List--on Google search
tell me if you find any that is positive--eg not about felons pardoned-scandals--body counts-pleady the 5th or I don't recall ect.Wonder why that is???
"Pray for me Jessie" :)

German jobless rate at new record

Unemployment in Germany is at record levels
More than 5.2 million Germans were out of work in February, new figures show.
The figure of 5.216 million people, or 12.6% of the working-age population, is the highest jobless rate in Europe's biggest economy since the 1930s.

Double Standards

Tuesday, March 01, 2005

By David Asman

If Hillary Clinton (search) and Condi Rice (search) face off in the race for the presidency, would each candidate be judged by the same standards that male candidates are judged?

Apparently not, based on a Washington Post (search) critique of what Dr. Rice was wearing in Europe. Listen to this:

"Rice's coat and boots speak of sex and power ? such a volatile combination, and one that in political circles rarely leads to anything but scandal. When looking at the image of Rice in Wiesbaden, the mind searches for ways to put it all into context. It turns to fiction, to caricature. To shadowy daydreams. Dominatrix! It is as though sex and power can only co-exist in a fantasy. When a woman combines them in the real world, stubborn stereotypes have her power devolving into a form that is purely sexual."

So any political authority achieved by Secretary of State Rice is reduced to a sexual fantasy?
Just imagine the uproar from liberal feminists if the Washington Post had said the same about, oh, say, Hillary Clinton. But somehow, a sexist insult thrown at the highest-ranking black woman in public service is okay?

What's going on here? I'm just asking.
++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
almost as amusing as the National Org of Women backing Clinton to the hilt and dissing Bush who is responsible for womens rights in middle east-- quite ironic I'd say-- more liberal logic????? :)

Germany is one country. And I'm not raving. Just said any help from Europe we should take. And we should stop thinking all they do is wrong. Because we sure are not right about everything. I mean were almost perfect. But not really. We can always help are selfs learn from them things that worked and those that didn't.

Can't wait to see the results from the oil-for-food scandal investigations. It was the biggest scam in history and you liberals will be able to see how all your trustworthy "friends" over there in Europe went behind our backs and allowed Saddam to do whatever the hell he wanted. No wonder they didn't want us to invade Saddam's "peaceful" nation....they had a financial vested interest.

No blood for oil??? kiss my ass

Here is U.N. response to Fox article--

U.N. Responds to Oil-for-Food Special

Wednesday, March 02, 2005

NEW YORK ? The United Nations (search) has sent a letter to FOX News in response to the special Breaking Point investigation, "United Nations Blood Money," that appeared Feb. 13 on FOX News Channel and on FOXNews.com.

U.N. officials charged that FOX News erred in declaring that "high U.N. officials [were] getting oil handouts from Saddam [Hussein]" as part of the Oil-for-Food (search) program.

Following is the U.N.'s comment, in a letter from Shashi Tharoor, U.N. under-secretary-general for communications and public information:

"Only one UN official ? Benon Sevan, the former head of the Office of the Iraq Program ? was found to have solicited allocations of oil under the Program. Mr. Volcker is still investigating whether or not Mr. Sevan personally benefited from this activity. Fox fails to inform viewers that as soon as he received Mr. Volcker?s report, the Secretary-General immediately began disciplinary proceedings against Mr. Sevan, who has been suspended and is no longer allowed on UN premises except to summon his defence."

The U.N. mention of "Mr. Volcker" refers to Paul Volcker, the former chairman of the Federal Reserve, who was tapped by U.N. Secretary-General Kofi Annan to lead an investigation into Oil-for-Food. In an interim report released last month, Volcker singled out Sevan for having a serious conflict of interest with regard to the management of Oil-for-Food.

FOX News Senior Vice President John Moody, who received the U.N.'s letter, said "FOX stands by its groundbreaking reporting on this scandal. Mr. Tharoor is correct in pointing out that as of now, only one U.N. official is known to have received oil handouts from Saddam. It is, however, worth noting that the individual in question ran the Oil-for-Food program

Wayne talking about Chinagate in 2005.

"Truth is beauty, beauty is truth. That is all ye know and all ye need to know".

Wayne is the master at diverting attention from the felonies and atrocities committed by the current criminal administration to bring up timely and informed discussion of individuals sleeping over at the White House 3 or 4 administrations ago.

Phenonmenal.

1500 Americans and tens of thousands of dead Iraqis later..............

Eddie

PS: By the way, Wayne, don't you think this is a little ironic. I mean I don't know if anyone else saw the humor in the title you gave this tread "Idiot Thinks He's Still President" with your name right under it.

Still laughing at that one.

"75% of "MAJOR" terrorist leaders were killed or captured"
Hmmm you seemed to have left out one word in quote which changes whole concept--typical Micheal Moore/NTY/liberal tactics
---Is it your inabilty to read or your memory??

Still waiting for you liberal lemmings to put up those taken out in Clintons adm or take the wager of his pardoning more felons than terrorist leaders captured.

and in addition to his record setting pardons issued to felons you might also consider---

For more than 100 years, the Justice Department has had a Pardon Attorney. It's the Pardon Attorney's job to process petitions for clemency, and make recommendations to the President. The Pardon Attorney receives close to 1,300 petitions per year. But most presidents only grant clemency to a handful every year -- Clinton has granted only 280 in his eight years as President.

On Iraqi's and soilders deaths Edward--It appears from all the dancing the Iraq'is think it worth it--the troops have no probs-in fact only probs they have are with ACLU and and the liberal
microsoft militia that have never seen a day of combat.

Why don't you on the left take your ACLU and sympathy for terrorist and whine between yourselves and let those that walk the walk do their thing while you go about talking the talk ;)

No one here in the middle has sympathy for terrorists Wayne. By the way, that applies to all types of terrorists. The obvious ones such as Osama and Al Quida as well as the not so obvious ones to the brain washed masses such as Pat Robertson, Jerry Falwell, other Christian terrorists, most in corporate America such as the credit card companies aka banks, republican terrorists such as Bush, Cheney and Rumsfeld, and others too numerous to name.

Don't limit your terrorist definition to only those with brown skin.

Wayne,

Enough with the Clinton pardon stuff. You've only referred to this 312 times in the last few years. You act as though his number is soo out of line with other presidents. Your article mentions that 'most presidents only grant clemency to a handful every year.' More BS.

Let's take a look. The first number is pardons granted. The second is the % of pardons granted compared to # applied for and the third is 'pardons granted per month in office'.

Eisenhower- 1110 / 27% / 11.6

JFK- 472 / 27% / 13.9

LBJ - 960 / 21% / 15.5

Nixon- 863 / 51% / 12.9

Ford- 382 / 39% / 13.2

Carter- 534 / 34% / 11.1

Reagan- 393 / 19% / 4.1

Bush 41- 74 / 10% / 1.5

Clinton- 396 / 19% / 4.1

So Wayne, it looks to me that Clinton is quite 'competitive' when it comes to pardons. Let's try to stick to facts and let's try not to post misleading articles. Except for Bush 41, I would hardly classify any of those numbers as 'just a handful'.

Clinton-

Tied with Reagan for second lowest pardons per month and second lowest % of pardons granted.

Please stop, I am about to pop a main blood vessel from laughing, this garbage from these right wingers gets deeper and deeper. Funny how the CIA and other world intelligence agencies disagree with your figures, they seem to believe that both Afghanastan and Iraq have become training grounds for terrorists, but what the hell do they know, I am sure Dope Man Rush or Fox News has better sources. 75%, BWHAHAHHAHAHA, damn I need a drink!

"the bunker"
the most vile and vicious terrorists on the planet have to be class action lawsuit attorneys.....

A blow to lawsuit lotteries.....

By Rep. Terry Everett
""""""A major legal reform to curb lawsuit abuse passed Congress this month and on Friday President Bush signed the legislation into law. The Class Action Fairness Act is a significant victory in that it will serve to greatly reduce a growing misuse of the legal system by lawyers intent on striking it rich at the expense of businesses, their workers, consumers, and even these lawyers' clients.

Our judicial system is designed to be an impartial venue in which legitimate claims can be brought against parties who have committed a wrong with the expectation that justice will prevail. It was never intended to be exploited by a small number of persons for their own personal financial gain at the expense of business and the consumer.

Unfortunately, this is precisely what is happening in a number of American courtrooms as class lawsuits are "shopped" by lawyers hoping to find a sympathetic forum in their quest to garner millions of dollars in fees in the name of justice.

We shake our heads at court rulings which award millions in cases where frivolous claims are brought against companies. What many may not know is that a double injustice is occurring in many such cases as plaintiff lawyers reap huge fees for their lawsuit victories and their class action clients often wind up with pennies or a few discount coupons. Accordingly, businesses suffer, their workers suffer, consumers pay higher prices for goods and services, and plaintiffs in these class action cases get a pittance.

Lawsuit abuse has become so lucrative for trial lawyers that the frequency of class action filings in state courts has risen by 1,315 percent over the last decade. Even more telling is the explosion in the number of such lawsuit filings in state courts deemed sympathetic to class actions.

Since 1998, filings in these so-called "magnet courts" which are recognized for their certification of the most questionable of class action lawsuits have skyrocketed over 5,000 percent.

It is no wonder that such lawsuit abuse has become so popular when lawyers can walk away with a fortune. Take a case filed in a sympathetic court in Texas where Blockbuster Video was sued over its late fees. The class action plaintiffs were awarded a settlement of two coupons for movie rentals and a dollar-off coupon. Meanwhile, the plaintiff's lawyers walked away with $9.25 million - "Wow, What a Difference!"

In another case, Chase Manhattan Bank was sued and chose to settle instead of going to court. The class action plaintiffs got 33 cents each while their lawyers pocketed $4 million in fees. To claim their 33-cent award, plaintiffs had to mail in a form which cost them 34 cents in postage.

No one is arguing that all class action lawsuits aren't justified. Indeed, they are an important tool for consumer protection. However, the law must be applied in a common sense fashion.

The Class Action Fairness Act would move larger interstate class action cases to the jurisdiction of Federal courts, a better venue to decide their merits. The result will be fairer consideration of class action lawsuits and an elimination of abuse which costs consumers more in the end.....""""

it`s about time.....

bwhahhahaa.....

btw....master capper...if you have a "copyright" on the "bwhahaha" thing, accept my apologies and i respectfully withdraw the comment.....

wouldn`t want to be getting a letter from eddie asking me to appear in court for copyright infringement.... :mj08: :wtf: ......
