Again, with great respect to all the real 'cappers here, YYZ will enjoy--in his head and heart-- a final score of Green Bay 35-Seattle 28.

I have no problem with that :SIB

Have a great day YYZ!!!! Eat a tofu dog and drink a frozen beer for me.

Bringing my jinx with me.

As a season ticket holder, I only like to go to playoff game when they go. That means I saw Randy Moss wipe his ass on the goal post in my endzone three years ago as the Vikings beats us down.

In 2004, the last time Seattle was here, it didn't really look like the Packers were going to have a home playoff game, so I never sent in for the tickets. (fuk me, now!)

That means I got to watch the Falcons dance the Dirty Bird on us in 2004 as the last loss.

I am at least hoping to snap that streak today.

I wanna think Favre can light these bums up today. The thing is.......it's a big game! And the only other "big game" the Packers really had this season was the Dallas game. I'm sure you all recall seeing "Flingin' Favre" return for that game! If he hadn't been pulled, he might have been looking at a career worst game, stats wise. I would like to think McCarthy could get into this guys head, and calm him down, but it just seems that Favre still thinks he has to win the game on the very next play every time they trail by 7 or more! Also, the Packers DO have a bit of a running game now, where they really dididn't for the first half of the season. (Why they failed to even attemt to use it more in Big D is beyond me.)

Anyway......I see the Packers as very much the team with everything to lose today, and the Hawks as the team playing on "extended life". I don't see Holmgren and his troops being too cautious today. He knows how Brett plays from behind, and I think he's going to "TRY" and go at them early. (That is to say, I don't think he is going to sit back and wait for Green Bay to "make the first mistake")

I doubt the weather will be a huge factor in anything today, either. I think both teams will get on the board today, and I'm hoping they start early.

I am going to take an "overdog" play on this game, as a result of all my babling.

In an extremely rare football play:

2 unit plays:

Seattle +7' -110
Sea/GB over 43'

(the greek)

Technicaly, I need 18 points from Seattle for a "push", but I will feel good about 17.

Good luck today, everyone!
Orale yyz,
Why don't you give up your tickets and move to Seattle, I'm sure the Preparation H boys will welcome your presense and cantor. Do the Packers fans a favor today stay home with your jinx and eat some rotten cheese. Brett will shine today under favorable conditons, Lambeau Field and the Green and Gold fans.

YYZ, you are a true fan, painting the GB colors on your head, but when you get back, just curious if you wore that same jacket to stay warm today...

On the course!
Well, that was the best game I've attended. (Guys in this thread who bet with their hearts, you didn't get me down a bit.)

The snow during the game was amazing! In the 3rd qtr, we could not see from our endzone to the other!

When the Pack went down a quick 14-0 early, I was getting cell calls from friends all over the stadium telling me to get my ass back home! I told them not to worry, that Seattle was just helping me secure my "over"!

The ride home was a mess. 20 or so cars in the ditch for our 75 mile drive. These knuckleheads will never learn.

I'm hoping to see them play there again next Sunday.........!!!!

(Since I have a ticket from last April on them winning the NFC, I would be taking the Giants + the points, too!)

Congrats E:00hour

As a die hard southern boy, I would not have been happy about being out in that weather:mj07:

But THAT is football and the game is meant to be played outside:SIB

Not like those SISSY teams that play in domes  :mj07:

Grant was unbelievable after spotting them 14 points and Farve continues to amaze:clap:

Favre

Just think two years ago in this forum you wrote how Brett Favre was washed up and couldn't play any more and now your going to play off games. What a joke? You should be forced to wear a cheesehead the rest of your life.

Isn't it enough that he has to live in Wisconsin?

Yeah......I should be forced to sit in a corner, because I could see Favre was playing like shit back then, while you were hugging your Favre Fathead. Good point.

I suppose I should have to throw away my ticket on them to win the NFC because I said they would be lucky to go 8-8 this season, too?
