May have to try the Five Guys burger. There is one about 5 minutes away. My favorite burger all time is Fuddruckers with Backyard Burger a close second. Fuddruckers is more of a gourmet burger and the buns are made fresh at the restaurant.

I'm a big fan of the burgers at Red Robin as a chain.

There is a bar (old style bar that is also a liquor store with griddle set up right behind the bar) in my hometown, Metzger's, that has the best burger off the griddle. Not to add their white bean soup!! :00hour

Amen brother...In and Out..

The menu-burgers, fries and drinks-is still the same basic menu customers have enjoyed since 1948. Everything is still made fresh to order. There are no microwaves or freezers. Customers may observe french fries being made from hand-diced, fresh, whole potatoes. And the shakes are made from real ice cream.

I don't think anything beats an In ANd OUt Burger, but you can only get them if you're in Cali or Vegas............Five Guys came to town here about 6 months ago. It is definitely the best burger in these parts,

DAWGBALL............You have to get the seasoned fries. I don't even eat fries, just for health reasons, but I do eat their seasoned ones, they are awesome.

And they actually pay a decent wage for a fast food joint; several bucks above minimum wage. So the workers are actually energetic, smile, and occasionally kinda hot.

I had 5 guys a while back, didn't think it could carry IN-N-OUT's jock. Mine seemed a little burnt and kinda dry, the fries were cold. I am willing to give them a 2nd chance, but being from the West Coast, I will probably always rate IN-N-OUT numero uno.

My fave burgers:

1. IN-N-OUT
2. Tommy's (LA)
3. My backyard burger
4. Hardees monster thick burger
5. Island Burgers
6. Sonic Chile Cheese burger

On the course!
I ate at Fattburger in Las Vegas this week. I thought they were okay. Had to ask for no onions on the next trip, though!

Well, I'm going for the man boobs I guess.

5 guys just came to Wisconsin and I visited one for the 1st time today.

Very basic restaurant - glorified fast food. Not much on the menu - hamburgers, hot dogs and fries.

BUT - it was one of the best burgers I ever had. Period. These guys and Fuddruckers are neck and neck - they both offer a different product and both are great.

Had the double cheesburger with a whole bunch of toppings - and 3 of us also split a hot dog with bacon and cheese.

Gotta tell ya, it was one of the best burgers, and without a doubt, THE best hot dog I've had in my life. :00hour

Yea, I may grow man boobs, but I'll be back.....
