Hi guys and gals. I didn't want to say this in Double Two's thread the other day when I wished him well on his health. I didn't want to steal his thread. When wineguy asked if and when I would be back I didn't answer. Since early in last season in MLB baseball I was battling stage 4 throat cancer in 2 spots. ( a golfball size lump in my throat and cancer on the epiglottis.) That's why I quit posting and didn't tell anyone why. I went through a lot of chemo and radiation. I had a mask and they stapled me to a table (Like a convertible top on a car while it is down.) Then shot me with radiation. For 35 days, that was the most they could do. I almost died one day there. I spent a month in a nursing home. Thanksgiving to almost Christmas. This Tues they took the lump out and took a sample of my epiglottis for a biopsy. The PET scan showed no cancer. They said everything looked okay but I have to wait 5 days for the results. It looks like I beat it guys. It looks like Raymond, that's me, BA will be around awhile.:00hour:00hour
