Well wtf u ask a question like u had no clue about the these type of cars :142smilie Here is what an engineer told me about these cars. He said the expensive repairs out weigh the savings on gas. Me i would rather pay for the repairs then give that money to oil companies. My next car will be a Prius.

Kinda like the people who have a Mac and iPhone, if you know what I mean
I think that's the difference between a lot of people Sponge. You will buy a Prius not to save money on gas but to keep it from the oil companies. I buy whatever the hell I like to ride in and could give a shit who gets the money for it. Why go around worrying about who's getting rich, enjoy life man and worry about making yourself happy.
I was looking at Hybrids for some time. However, after doing the math on total cost, repairs and mpg.
I bought a Ford Focus(20K). It gets 31/35 mpg. Its a bit smaller car then I wanted. Going from a $150 a fill up on my F250(16mpg) to less then $40 is great.
The savings on gas pays for more than 50% of the cost new car.
I am not sure it would be a great chick magnet at the strip clubs. But, now I have a lot more $$ for the girls.
a/c, 1lbs of oats per 25 miles, easy on repair bills, bit breezy in the winter though

My wife and I both drive Honda Civic hybrids. I'm not a car guy, so I'm not all that into what I'm driving. Here's what I do know: My car is great and I never have any trouble (2006, BTW). The gas mileage is phenomenal, especially after driving a Ram 1500 V8. I love hearing people bitching about the price of gas, bc it makes me feel good about my choice of vehicle. I fill up once every 2-3 weeks, and when I fill up, it is only like 12 gallons. My commute is 25 minutes, so I am doing pretty well.
How much power does it have? I was going to look around soon.
I am not sure how u want me to quantify it, but it does just fine. It has good pick up and gets up to speed relatively quickly.
Yeah, I just need to test drive a few. I like sports cars but was thinking of getting a hybrid this time around.
Disclaimer: I am not a car guy. My recommendation may not be suitable for all. Performance means little to me, as long as I have enough acceleration to merge onto highways and such.
