Where it is real F ing COLD
Is it normal to want to stab a player in the neck on a team you bet on for being a stupid player?
Just watched New Mexico State game and #1 on that team was a fucking idiot tonight. Cost them at least 12 points.

Rule #1 Don't watch this shit when money is involved, the game of basketball has too much going on and too many plays but I was sitting here at work doing nothing. I should of did the hippo standings but I forgot all about it. Maybe it was that 0 -3 of mine.

Not in a t but I am in sneakers. 3 inches of ice

Are there any stats of people falling in and dying because they started too early?

I imagine it happens all the time.

People driving their cars out too early and breaking through?

Do you not have Google or are you just lazy......

Many ice drownings involve children.
When your child is near the ice, you
should be near your child.

Avoid alcoholic beverages when you?re on
the ice. They can make you feel colder
and slow down your reaction time in case
of an ice emergency.

Carry two large nails to use as ice picks to
pull yourself out if you fall through thin
ice.

Never drive on the ice at night.

Avoid pressure ridges, and areas with
current if you do choose to drive on the ice.

Drive with your windows down and doors
partially open to avoid becoming trapped
if your car breaks through.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------
BP is on 3"

[h=3]For new, clear ice only[/h]
2" or less - STAY OFF
4" - Ice fishing or other activities on foot
5" - Snowmobile or ATV
8" - 12" - Car or small pickup
12" - 15" - Medium truck

Note: these guidelines are for new, clear solid ice.
Many factors other than thickness can cause ice to be unsafe.

Ice fisherman do drown or die of hypothermia what have you. You better know what the hell is going on. I would only fish the body of water I was on today, the ice was 3 inches thick, that's plenty to walk on. Some lakes it's not depending on how the ice was made and weather or not it has springs on it. Now today I was confident the ice was safe because I had friends of mine out there on Saturday and they were fine. Some idiot here will lose his/her truck by driving on ice too soon. Most get out in time. You get a grace period by the DNR to get the vehicle out of lake and then they fine you daily and it is a stiff fine here. To pay someone to dive down and get your vehicle is $6,000 - $15,000 plus insurance won't cover your ruined vehicle.

First ice and last ice is the best fishing. Right BP?

The lake I fish also has 3 inches but I like to wait until there is at least 10.

Can't wait. BP, what kind of shelter should I look at this year? I don't want a sled or one that flips.

I'm thinking more like a 8 person pop up. Any thoughts?

It all depends on hoe many people you expect to take fishing? There is that big red one , think it's a clam, I'll search and post one later.

I purchased and 8x6 permanent but that snow and cold we got froze it on the ground. Just think I was in the boat exactly 2 weeks ago. 11 below wind chills and it's not even thanksgiving

Typically it would be 2-4 adults and a few kids. It seems like the reviews of every brand I read are bad.

If this weather keeps up there will be a solid 12 inches by Christmas...
