I never said you weren't entitled to an opinion. Although I will say one of the sad parts of the human race is how often people are looking to rain down on other people's happiness. I have been guilty of it myself, but it is still disheartening to see others do it.
I started this thread to celebrate the Broncos this year, but you and others have come in to rain on the parade talking about how poor the man's record is in the playoffs. Nevermind the fact that he does have a Super Bowl ring.
The main point of my post was to point out how ridiculous your statement "finally come through in the clutch" sounded. So what was that Super Bowl ring? That doesn't count as clutch? I notice how you failed to acknowledge that in your reply.
So anyway, go ahead and rag on Peyton's playoff record. When he wins a few more Super Bowls, it will be moot.
Elway lost three before he won two to finish his career. No one talks about how he was a playoff choker. They only talk about how he was one of the best QBs of all-time.
Peyton wins two more Super Bowls and he will have won 3 out of the 4 he played in. Not a lock by any stretch, but I sure as hell like his chances after witnessing the best four-game stretch of play I've ever seen.
It'll be a hell of a ride. Plenty of room on the bandwagon for all the badmouthers to hop on board in the future. :0corn
There is a fan board for these celebratory posts:0074 Anyway, I just call it like I see it, and my intention is not to rain on any parades. When manning improves in the playoffs, I'll be one of his supporters as best ever.
My 2-3 grade flag football team plays cooper's this Saturday morning. I saw cooper there last week, as he was playing on the next field. We were actually scheduled to play the other Newman team, but there was a change in the schedule for unknown reasons. He walked over to say hello and and chat about the schedule change. I talked with him about his team and book of manning. I then told him Peyton was playing at a crazy clip. He told me the offense is not where Peyton wants it to be. Much room for growth exists according to Peyton. :scared at that point, I laughed, but he didn't
Question, do we know if Von miller tested positive for PEDs, or was it recreational drugs?
