Weight

I'm 6'2 and my weight has fluctuated the last few years from 170-230. When I was 215-230 I was just being a pig, I admit it. Right now I'm right in the middle at 200. I run regularly, lift regularly, bike sometimes, and drink a decent amount of beer (bad I know) - I don't drink hard liquor or mixed drinks much at all anymore. I don't eat chocolate or candy much (if at all), don't drink soda, I eat salads as frequently as I eat meat or pasta. I'm sure I could get my weight around the 175-185 range, but why? I think balance is the key.

I packed on 41 lbs from my 40th birthday to a couple weeks before my 42nd bday. 189 to 230lb! Now heading back down...about 223 today. Can't exercise right now, but I've been eating less, which sparked the 7 lb drop in 2-3 weeks. Can't wait to start putting my new elliptical to use in about a week. Goal is 189 by Christmas

I'm comfortable at 220-225 which I haven't been in over a year. My body seems to want 230ish which I can live with I'm 6'3". Ideally I'd rather be 210 but it's too much of a struggle to maintain especially with my wife's cooking.

Since my Vegas trip in August I blew up to 243 and that's my warning sign to get back on track. I can knock those 13 pounds off in 6-8 weeks watching my calories and keeping them at around 1200 a day and around 2000-2500 on weekends. The first week is the most difficult time, after that it's pretty easy sticking to. I don't exercise and really should start and it would be a lot easier. I'll start soon, OS.

Wait till you guys hit 50 and you'll see what a bitch it is. Working at home makes it tougher too.

That's my problem. I started working out of the house 2 years ago . When we built this house, I put in a home office. Talk about a failed experiment. I eat leftovers all day long, take nap when I get tired, binge watch the wire, etc. Ridiculous

There ya go.

And dammit, I'm going to start The Wire again. I quit after the first 2 episodes but people keep telling me to give it a better chance. And it's filmed in Baltimore, I must be nuts not watching it.

I'm back up to about 204 that's after all the summer bbq and beer. I'm on vacation for 6 months next week so I'll hit the exercise program again! I want to get to 185 this time!
