1st of all stop all the stupid ass talk about #1 recruiting class and strength of schedule. The reason why USC is #2 has to do with when the lost. If Miami had lost early in the season and run the table they would be number one. Take a look at the bcs the difference is how they are ranked in the ap and coaches poll. If USC had lost to CAL last week they would drop to 6 or 7 just like Miami. As far as recruiting class who the hell cares who has the #1 recruiting class obviously history shows that does not mean crap so give up on that theory. Back to strength of schedule. Lets take a close look at USC schedule. Name on impressive win and if you say at Auburn check the BCS are they even in the top 25 so throw out Auburn and I think the game might be a little different if they played now. OK so you are going to say Wash State; the same team that got beat by Notre Dame a team with 5-6 losses; very impressive. They beat BYU and Hawaii at home impressive.
They got beat by a terrible Cal team; kicker or no kicker; I hate people that use excuses; a loss is a loss deal with it; they won at ASU; an ASU that is getting there ass handed to them on a weekly basis. They won a home game against Stanford...impressive...oh never mind they suck too...they won at Washington (the worst wash team in the last 5 years) and now they have the gauntlet of playing at Arizona (tough one) and home games against UCLA and Ore State. another 2 tough games and no championship Game. USC has beat 1 team currently in the top 25 of the BCS so I dont care what stats you throw at me thats pathetic. Now I hate Miami but look at who they have to play and you talk about how Miami not wanted to play USC; well if USC played Tenn, Florida, at Florida State, at Pitt; at Vtech I probably would not want to add any more meat to my Schedule; so looking at Miami shedule they have beaten the number 3 team in the bcs; they play the #13 team this week; they beat the number 17 team; they play #25 team in 2 weeks; and they lost to the #6 team. Not too shabby; Now look at LSU I think most people would agree they deserve to be #2; playing in the SEC and with a number of impressive wins. Last thing about OU; lets take a look at there schedule; they have played and spanked 3 teams in the top 25 of the BCS; and you think they have not faced a team like USC; what about Texas; they have just as many or more athletes than USC; I am sure they would be plenty of physical with any PAC 10 team and I guarantee you this Texas would be favored by 7 or more against any pac 10 team with maybe the exception of USC; and I hate Texas but do realize they have plenty of talent; maybe not the coaching; also isnt this USC highest ranking since 1987; where have they been the last 16 years. Wasnt the last time USC faced a big xii team was last year against KSU at HOME and KSU sucked that year and you had Carson Palmer and a better RB and you put up 7 points and got beatdown. Dont you think OU is licking there chops at facing a qb who never took a snap before this year. The problem with you Scott is you are homer and everyone knows it. If OU does end up playing USC they will get spanked just like Wash State did last year in the Rose Bowl the same team that gave a BEATDOWN to your precious USC team.
