Getting 6 months severance WITH benefits...

gave us 3 wk/year so I got 24 weeks...

want to find a job so I can double dip and put some money away.....I am looking for the RIGHT job though..I had 2 jobs in 16 years....I'm not job-hopping...

want something were I can grow within the company and retire....

I hope you find what you're looking for...

one of my buddies called me yesterday and said his company sent out an email saying they will fire 500 employees on Monday... he's scared shitless.. been with the company 6-7 years and is actually a manager over a territory. I told him he has nothing to worry about but you never know

I found a job with another pharmaceutical company...

Diabetic Specialty representative here in the Memphis area selling a product for ESRD.

less than 10% loss off base salary as manager so can't complain....

only thing NO company car...they do give $650.00/month car allowance.....looks like I need to go buy a car now...oh yeah, they pay all gas either work or personal....SWEET!!:00hour :00hour

will be in CHICAGO 2/23 - 3/13 for training---3 weeks...would like to meet up with some MJers for dinners/drinks..

thanks for all the support during these trying times!!!

just talked to a buddy who is a pilot for FedEx..lthey are suppose to be laying off 700 pilots.....WTF:nono: :nono: :nono:

tough times ahead!!!

Hey Lawchtan, congrats on the new job. ESRD is a good field these days. I have a couple of large ESRD clients that I recruit for.

barclays- laid off 2100 ppl
hsbc- laid off 1350 ppl
royal bank of scotland- 700 laid off
lloyds- 800 laid off

PM brown is going to get it up his arse tomorrow in parliament! so much for his financial stimulus plan here lol
