about 240 and want to weigh 200, although I haven't weighed that since 8th grade

I would like to lose 50 lbs, I am not big beer belly or anything like that see my facebook pics, have broad shoulders and history of heart disease in my family and I am 36, dont want a heart attack :scared

240 is 2800 calories a day, so ur goal is 2300 calories every day. I went from 240 to 205 last year in 4 months, so it can be done. I found u can burn TONS of calories on a stationary bike. A stationary bike sucks and is boring, but I would pop in a movie, get a big glass of water, watch the movie, and ride the bike the whole time. Click on the site below to see how much that will burn. :0008 I didn't drink, and I would eat whatever I wanted at least once a week. I also drank no cola or diet cola. Caffeine makes a diet suffer.

http://www.healthstatus.com/calculate/cbc will calculate calories burned with any kind of exercise u can think of. Www.calorieking.com will help u figure ur calories consumed.

after getting divorced I have been on a no exercise, drinking, eating what I want, gaining weight diet... Its time for a change. Heading to check out the gym tonight and may hire a personal trainer. I broke it off for good with my girlfriend today, so its time to get serious about a lifestyle change...wish me luck...

If anyone has that formula of Jack's diet where you figure out how much you want to weigh and eat that many calories per day post it here...TIA

Have you ever tried the cocaine diet? Its expensive but a great way to lose your appetite

Just kidding on a serious note start taking fish oil. I started taking a couple capsules every day and have lost about 10 pounds in the first month.

That'll work. Fill it up with rocks and move it 100 yards through the mud, empty it, and go back and do it again. Do that about 4 hours a day and you'll be lean and mean :box2:

did over 4 tons of rock and 200 cubic yards of mulch..

and spread it...

61...and I bury fat boys..

How serious are you? Do you want to lose the weight in an effective manner that will give you the best chance of keeping it off long-term?

Weight watchers for Men.

I'm not kidding. One of my best friends has dropped 60lbs in about 6-8 mos without working out! That just goes to show how his body was not meant to handle that weight.

The weight-watchers makes it easy with points, allows you to see what real-life foods are...etc. If you do their program and stick to the system it works.

If you want to wing it or try some fly-by-night diet it's just not going to last long-term.

very serious, I looked at myself today in the mirror, I do not like myself at this weight...

A guy I work with lost 50 lbs doing ww for men, may give it a try
