Jack--I've looked for thread on wager and can't locate it--it was this spring and discussion was in general forum on scores people could shoot on diff courses--however all courses were those no one could get on--so I made offer on one they could play here in Bowling Green to see if there were any takers in a real environment--believe the wagers was I'd bet up to $500 a person on anyone breaking 75 from the tips--would pay green fees and spotter fees of anyone busting 77 and give $250 bonus to anyone breaking par.

well, considering everyone is double my age, i dont think it's much of a natural fit, but to see kosar duff around a golf ball in 100 degree heat might be worth the drive :mj07: if he leaves his hole in ft myers....LOL jack, is terry ray on staff as a photographer, he sure took many pics in vegas and was in like 2 :shrug: but it's all good, golf season is gearin up beein caddyin almost daily, wish i was good as u guys and had the time and $$ to play more, am about a mid 90s player

actually my bro goes to school in indy and likes it, i have nothing against it, just dont like all you northeast haters with the dumb stereotypes that arent true when you never come HERE and visit, how about a summer trip to the friggin jersey shore or atlantic city, raymond's brigantine house :scared that is a BEAUTIFUL beach area 10 mins from AC and 2.5 hr drive for me, but you have a much bigger contingent in Indiana than northeast, granted

I think I may very well make the trip despite the fact that I can't swing a golf club. Like PF, I had back surgery a few years back and the stainless steel rods just don't let my back move like that anymore but I'm a great bartender. It would be nice to see some of you guys again so why not?

sounds good, indiana is a bit of a trek from here and everyone is double my age wish there were more young folks on madjacks but arent tons, but vegas was an outstanding time, bartender sounds good, vodka/tonics with a lime, with a home bartender and not one at a bar using a measuring device :SIB

If I'm not call I may make the 'trip'...not very far from cinci! Depends on my schedule and unfortunately won't know till last minute. Not much of a golfer but i can drink w/ the rest of them. Who cares about age nys...it's all about hanging out with people who enjoy life!

I could do the 14th. What about playing Sunday morning too? We could have a calcutta and do the auction Saturday night.

We can use a projector and flash a spreadsheet up showing the teams, price, owners, etc. during the auction. Just split all entrants into As and Bs according to handicap (honor system/card) and draw two man teams out of a hat. It would be nice to play 2 or 3 rounds and drink about a million mickeys and boil some ribs or something.

Under the unlikely asssumption that I don't qualify for the Main Event this week and don't make it into the final 81 players once I do qualify, then the 14th will work for me.
