Friday night is always wine night in this household. Starting on the second bottle.
Sure you can't tell the misses that you had some work come up in the city tomorrow? :shrug: Bloody Mary's for the early games and your own tv for the Irish.
Beer is for Sunday only nowadays.
I've had 3 offers to go to South Bend - it's not about the misses, it's about being a man. Thanks for the invite - if you want to bring the gang out to C'ville, give me a call (I got to set up the baby's room and could use some extra hands - lol)
Tough to switch the soiree at the last minute. How about we come out for the weekend of the championship games? You win the league, you pay for food, vice versa when I win. And the fact that hopefully you will have the baby's room and not needing our help is an added bonus.
With proper motivation it can happen.
Need a second tv though as part of that motivation. Any chance St. Nick can visit you early?
What is up gentlemen......hardly ever come in to this bar but drinking some "red stuff" as Gary calls it and on the third bottle actually after grilling out next door (shared with another person, one drinking chard bottle by herself) . Ang is sheets into wind but for me, it is "where is my glass" :mj07: watching game
Hey Chuck! I got 18 gallons brewing int he basement. I didn't get to bring you a bottle last time because it doesn't keep well without the proper ingredients. I'll see if I can't stash a bottle for you now that I got the right stuff. It really isn't that good, but it is fun to drink something you had a hand in.
Hey Boys....At least now I'm not drinking alone....wife and dog are sleeping on the couch and I'm stuck with my Labatt's getting tomorrow's Breeder's Cup card capped....I like a few colts for tomorrow....Heading to a Breeder's Cup Party myself tomorrow Steve.....Gonna be a good time!

I'm kicking myself already for not playing tomorrow. Possibly 70 in Chicago in November. Unfortunately already had plans to have guys over to watch the college games.
We're going to be one of the first groups off in the morning, so hopefully gonna be home in time for a good chunk of the early games and the first horse race in the Breeders Cup.
I know what you're saying.....Unfortunately, not many of these days left!!
