What will your new handle be when you come back?[/QUOTE]

Was thinking the same thing. Isn't it possible to just register again under a different name? Are the IP addresses shown when someone is registering?

I don't really come on this forum very much anymore...for numerous reasons, but since Agent is BANNED because...well really don't know why he is banned, but that would be a whole nother thread, I feel that I need to defend him.

First of all, the $800, or $880 now I guess that is owed to BDB is totally my responsibility. I pay out and collect all these funds. Perhaps the other fantasy basketball people who were promptly paid off (Treynolds $430, ONLY ONE $180) and the fantasy golf segment one winners (something around the order of $200) can attest that they were paid right away.

Second, BDB was emailing agent at an email that he NEVER checks, and agent had told him before to email him at a different address. I know there are some others of you that email him there and could testify that you have been asked to email him other places. I can name names if I need to. So there was a communication breakdown, which is why I think BDB is so frustrated and sent the email that Jack posted.

Third, BDB took about a month paying Agent last time they settled up, around the order of $1000. He had to wait to cash the money out of a sportsbook, and we had no problem waiting a month. This was the exact same arrangement that Agent made with BDB, so he was not checking his email or thinking that BDB was getting frustrated, because he told him it would be a few weeks. I guess it has been "36 days", but like I said, they agreed it would take some time. I am sorry Agent didn't communicate better. We have A LOT going on, but being welchers is certainly not one of them.

Fourth, WTF with JACK posting an email from BDB. If BDB wanted to post something on MJs, can't he log in and do it himself, or is he banned too? I understand BDB's frustration in not being able to get a hold of Agent, but it seems like he was just trying to find out information? He sent the email to numerous people, as I just logged into the fantasy email account and saw it, so perhaps Jack (who has agents email that he uses all the time, and his cellphone number) could have been a bigger man than to just post it and create drama. He could have emailed or called agent first, but I guess his hatred runs too deep. Sorry Jack, I always thought you were a great guy, but I am not sure why you hate Chad so much.

Anyway, we were waiting on some money. Just so you all know, MOST of this money that was owed to BDB was in side bets, and the money we collect for fantasy leagues is safely secured in another account.

Where to start.....

First off, I've never met agent or jess in my life. I've only known them through the internet via this board or email.

I will apologize if I've smeared agent or jess' name if this is an actual communication error, but I won't apologize for my reaction or actions as I feel they are what a normal person would have done in my situation.

Also it's fair to note that some people just don't like agent and that's fine just like some people just don't like me and that's fine as well. All of this has nothing to do with your opinions of myself or agent.

For the past 4 or so years, I've been involved in fantasy leagues with agent, his wife, and other mjer's. They've been a fine experience with the exception that I suck in most fantasy things I do. Agent and his wife kept a running tally of where things stood between us. If it ever got over a grand or if the season ended we would square up if it was over a couple hundred bucks. I was never worried about being paid if I won, and I've never stiffed anyone in my life, so I was certainly never worried about paying myself.

Three years ago, I was stuck around 1100. I was moving my family and it was around the time of UIEGA and it was a bitch getting money in and out of stars and books, so I needed three or four weeks to get it together and send it to him which i did. It is however important to note that I did email him and keep in contact with him and when I could send it. It's also important to note this was money for an entrance fee and some side bets we had and I was not holding anyones entrance fees, etc. The next year I lost about 400 and paid hiim as well. Last year I think we were close to even and nobody paid anyone. Jess kept a detailed spreadsheet of where we were always at and occasionally it was mailed to me.

Fast forward to this year. On the 21st of April of this year, I emailed agent at the e-mail in question and we decided to settle up where he would pay me 800 of the 880 he owed me. I told him to keep 80 of it because we had a player drop out and he kinda got screwed on admin fees, etc. We shot a few emails back and forth at that address shooting shit and talking smack, etc in good nature. He said he would need a couple weeks and would mail it to me. That was fine.....Hell, and this is what pissed me off, is that if he even once said he didn't have it, needed a little more time, payment plan, etc. I wouldn't have cared at all, and he and Jess and anyone who knows me knows that is true. $800 isn't a lot of money and life will certainly go on if I never got paid or don't in the future. That was the last I heard from him until this morning.

35 days went by without hearing anything. To my knowledge when I emailed him at the adress around the 21st he got back to me right away and subsequently for the next 24 to 48 hours. Then nothing. I sent 5 or so more emails over the next 35 days and never heard anything.

Out of principal I emailed people in the leagues of basketball and golf of which I am a part of and told them that I felt I was being stiffed by agent. I mean 35 days and someone can't answer an email but they are turning in lineups? That was how I felt. I never emailed jack here intentionally...He uses some throw away yahoo address for his fantasy emails and I didn't even know he was one of the guys I was emailing.

He didn't post anything without my permission. He emailed me and asked if I wanted him to post my situation. I said I really don't care either way. It's been 35 days and I haven't heard from the guy. I know a lot of people here play in those leagues, and if I am getting stiffed then others around here should be wary.

I never knew which email to use for agent because I used to use some goatboy one and he told me to use this one I used and I guess somewhere along the line he told me a gmail one although I don't know it.

In sum.........I'll give the guy the benefit of the doubt for now and take his word I'll be paid shortly. Whatever your opinion of the guy is, it doesn't matter. We all form opinions of people and they are what they are. Am I upset that this is forum knowledge???? In hindsight yes, but I guess I did hear from the guy today so I don't know. I wish all of this never happened. I wish he would have just emailed me once and said whatever. But I reacted as most would if they go 35 days without even hearing anything. Jess and agent are probably pretty good peeps. Everyone has a different persona in real life than they do on a message board. In this instance I'll give him the benefit of the doubt and hope to go on in the future and apologize for public laundry and slandering his name, but I won't apologize for how I reacted because I think it's fair with how the events unfolded. I wish them the best in the future and all my peeps here I haven't had time to catch up with lately.

Hope to post more often and annoy bobby blueballs and catch up with my bud kcwolf.

I'll post an update here when I do get paid which I'm confident I will be now. Just a chitty situation and I apologize to all I offend.

So 35 days and no response, but a response and a check of a dormant email account on the very same day that it gets posted on Madjacks. A one in 36 chance, really. . . .like a one-outer on the river.

Hope to see you more often, BDB! and stop playing silly fantasy games. . . . sheesh

This is ridiculous. The Boys could not be a real life stiff. That's like saying the Dos Equis man is a stiff. Oh mommy.

Al, after these posts by RAYMOND, I have no problem with you adding him to the list of MadJack stiffs.
RAYMOND OWE $2500 TO BET FIRST CLASS

RSYMOND A STIFF TOO:sadwave:
THE BOOKIE ARE NO BETTER THAN DRUG DEALERS:0corn
RAYMOND contacted me within a couple of weeks of my going to work with BetFirstClass in December of 2008 to ask me for a credit account. I had met RAYMOND at one of the MadJack Super Bowl parties and have talked to him on the phone dozens of times after that as he would frequently ask me so advice about his concrete business as I am a structural engineer so I genuinely felt like I could trust him to pay if he lost. Basically, I thought we were friends and that he wouldn't fuck me over in the long run.

Within minutes of his account being authorized with $2500 credit, he fired away with two five team parlays for a $1000 each and a third for $500. I'm thinking to myself, "What the fuck?, This guy is taking a big time shot at me." after I just did him a favor. Regardless, after all three lost he avoided my phone calls for weeks before finally responding that he was broke but would pay me when he could.

Eighteen months later I have basically written it off but the money came out of my pocket because at the time RAYMOND placed the wagers, I was only an employee of BetFirstClass and I had to stand good for the stiff job.

That's the story fellas but I am less irritated by being stiffed than I am by watching RAYMOND continue to post wagers here at MadJacks on a daily basis. I consider myself an extremely good "judge" of character but for the record, I could not have been more wrong on this one.

What's amazing is that ray betrayed the trust of somebody who thought he was ray's friend.
