actually, it's pretty simple for you.

limit yourself to 1300 calories per day for 1 year, you will lose 70-100 pounds. guaranteed.

you'll drop 50 pounds in 5 months or less.

NO CHEATING :nono:

If you excercise you will lose more.

My problem is the bad eating habits. I eat some much shit food that I don't know how to eat right. Like breads, fried crap, and crackers.

I agree if I limit myself to 1300 calories /3 or 4 meals a day it should come off quickly as long as I'm consist.

You know you are sad when you pay $68 a month for gym membership and you go once a month, yikes.

As a person who came within an eyelash of kicking the bucket recently, you won't have to worry about being sad or bad eating habits...

your body and its organs will tell you and will shut down, with no chance to say good-bye to anyone...

if you have a family doctor and your height and weight is what you quoted earlier...get to him asap and get on the action plan with medication and other means.

good luck...and do it now!!

Thanks for the encouragement guys. I know I can't stay this way. I need to move forward and become a better version of myself.

Yes I am serious about weight loss and I don't want to live like this anymore.

If you guys don't mind I will keep updates in here. I have no reason to not do this. I don't have a boss, I have an a great family, I set my own hours for work. My laziness is/was stopping.

I'm starting and I'm going to finish this.

I decided to start Dec 1st and drink nothing but water for 21 days. It can be flavored water (either bought that way or the little crystals)...but nothing but water.

I did the 21 day body detox that someone posted on here about a year and a half ago. So now I'm doing sort of a modified version of it and not being nearly as strict.

For the most part, going to drink a shake for breakfast (protein, fiber, superfoods powder from GNC) and then mostly fruits and veg's during the day at work. Then whatever I want for dinner except no fast food.

But the main thing for me is the water b/c I was drinking too much beer and WAY too much mountain dew. I'm at a great weight....5'11 and 178 pounds...but need to get rid of the gut and get more energy. Look and feel better and not look and feel so rundown.

So far, so good. Would love to have some beers tomorrow for a big day of football but its a small short-term sacrifice.

I recently read a book about a money makeover and it talks about baby steps for everything. Same is true of this. Don't try to do it all at once. Like madjack said, make a plan of so many calories and stick to it and its science. You will lose 50-100 pounds as long as you are willing to wait a year. Think about how great you'll look and feel next Christmas.

Do it man....do it.

Meh. I hate being under diarrhea chick but I digress. Picked up some better food options today when I was out at the grocery store. The plan is 1500 calories for the first month while working out for an hour each day and finding an hour for fun physical activities such as basketball, swimming, ect ect.

I have to commit to this so I figured I might as well write about it. I plan on eliminating any processed foods, no more crackers, fried foods, or breads.

If it's not meat, fruit, vegetable or a nut I won't be eating it. As far as drinks are concerned water is going to be my best friend.

This is going to be rough the first week especially with the withdraw headaches and thoughts of eating all that horrible shit that I've been eating for way to long. Habits truly die hard

Wish me well and I'll be back in a week to update.
