Is Sgt. Woody an expert on animal breeds? I don't think so. This is just the MEDIA with an anti-pit bull agenda.
So no questions concerning the naked dude in a strangers yard just that the police said they were pitt bulls and that fits your agenda, right? Just once everyone try something new, it's going to be very hard for some of your, but just once, gather all the pertinent information. Those dogs may have been protecting the property. Did the guy provoke the fight by being a thief? Were the dogs told to attack? Why didn't they attack the officers? How were the blood crazed killers "corralled" and put back in the house workout everyone losing a hand. You don't know any of that, but you know your agenda.
This is exactly what I'm talking about. People think they know something and they don't know shit because they only hear what they want to

How do you know he was naked? A stranger? Or even in a yard? Is that what happened or is that just what the MEDIA wants you to believe?

I don't like Pitt Bulls at all; I have never "met" one that wasn't leaping and snarling at me from a chained post. Poodles were originally a hunting dog, and they are highly intelligent as a breed.

I'm in total agreement with FDC that dogs are a reflection of their owners ans their training or lack of training. I do think however that there is overwhelming evidence that Pitt Bulls are a particularly violent and volatile breed.

True story. I had a patient 20 years ago who was bitten by a Pitt Bull. He became septic from the bite and developed a "showering of clots" that caused loss of blood flow to his extremities and necessitated below the knee and below the elbow amputations. I saw him in his wheelchair at the store a few months ago. He learned to do many things with his disability (operating heavy machinery, fishing, smoking cigarettes, driving), and he has been in the paper several times.

Well see, there's a happy ending not made possible without the help of pit bulls. :)
