I knew Universalist would give up like all of the prev. posters did. Can't blame him one bit. Just me and the spider webs today.

Prob. gonna be a one day trip for me in here and only because I've been MURDERING Parx lately. I only play 3 to maybe 5 races on their race days and I beat them on my last 3 visits... think it was Mon or Tues I hit TWO $100+ exactas.

Maybe posting the picks will ruin the streak, but I'll take my chances that maybe I will be able to come back here tomorrow to read to myself this thread with a smile :). If all these plicks (below) lose - it's OK cause nobody else is gonna play them anyway.

I post a lot of different tickets that might turn our Viewers off, but this is the track to do just that cause, in many cases, hitting one of the tickets can result in a payout that makes it well worthwhile.

I'm not too excited about the 2nd and 3rd race but I did handicap them like I always do and came up with these below. I REALLY think today's 7th race will produce a winning ticket that just might be the big payer today? I still gotta go through the rigorous no. cruncher before betting it and also see about scratches.
Bet small and win big is the objective with these...

PARX today:

2nd race: box 1-3-6 tri. - no. 5 top/bot exactas with 1,3,6 and make a side bet on no. 4 to win. That side bet should be enough to cover the cost of all the bets and maybe a little more.

3rd race: exactas 1,4,7 top/bot with 2,5 - and again no. 4 to win as a side play.

4th race: 5,7,10 top/bot exactas with 6,9.

Any scratches? Just leave the scratched hosses out.

Looking forward to the 7th and HOPE I can get back here. If I don't - just watch for the 4,6,and/or 9 in that race.

EDITING - that there no. 3 in the 3rd race is 15/1 M.L. put a couple of bucks to win on that one as well.

Good Luck, Spiders.

People don't do horses much anymore. I was last into the horses back in the early to mid 80's.

You sure have given your best to generate some interest in here. Thanks for the effort.

This stuff ain't EZ.... .. .

This stuff ain't EZ.... .. .

and it is depressing what is happening to Hoss Wacin in the past decade or so. Similarly to what is going on with Sports Forums due to the social media craze that offers great entertainment opportunities to their clients in exchange for their personal information, buying habits,,email addresses, even dating preferences lately, etc. etc. How bout me? I never took the bait. NEVA! one identity theft using my credit card online to the tune of $7 grand was enough and yes - I did get it restored without one of them "Protection Against ID Theft" places and you don't need a lawyer either.

UT, I gotta ask the viewers a question now; I have a related story for yas related to the above (not too long) in my following post. Thank you for stopping in here, Jack.

DID ANYBODY CATCH THAT THERE NO. 3 HOSS IN THE 3RD WACE or 4/9 Zacta in the 7th?

OH well, I did anyways, guess somebody's gotta win around here. Look it up.

I'd love to play the 9th but Mrs. Ski is calling me. Stopping when you're ahead enough is usually a good thing any anyway.

bye,bye

Good to seeya again, Hammy

Hope "TKS" = YES

Looks like my luck is holding out by steering clear of Parx today so far is working with all the chalk today, Spud. I capped the 2nd - 4th and couldn't come up with anything worth playing.

Just took a stab with a few exactas in the 7th and paid the price for it with the dang chalk again, LOSAHS!

Gotta see whats up for the 8th and 9th but thinking I may not play either.
Good to see a couple of players here today.

EDITED - 8TH RACE -- NO, NO, I ain't takin the bait :nono:

Very rarely you see a day like this at Parx

Very rarely you see a day like this at Parx

Except for giving credit to early speed, I wouldn't play this track that way on a normal day here, I give ya a LOT of credit for :s1: today. I did a quick cap on that 8th , came up with 4 nags and no. 7 was on top AND there was no way I'd use the no, 5 with any of them.

Sorry, didn't see you two before

Sorry, didn't see you two before

Spud, I think you're on the right track with Sanchez ESP. in the final race of the day. I've been noticing something that happened a couple of other times. That is, put him top and bot (exactas) in the last race With the 3 longest shots is the race. Try it on paper maybe.

ageecee, handicapping horses properly does take time for sure. They say that the pick 4s are the way to go if you figure the risk/reward factor. I was ok doing pick 3s and Philly is a decent place to do them I think because pricey horses do come in there.

Thanks for letting me know you come in here.
